Smashing 5 stars
Wow!!! We are absolutely in love with this display. We use it in our family room (on a coffee table) as a TV, and use a Chromecast (with remote/voice) to stream stuff to it. It is the *perfect* experience. This display is absolutely gorgeous in the room. The white finish is beautiful, and it's ultra thin, both in its display margins, and in the thickness of the display. It looks beautiful. The display quality is good when you're using it for a TV. It only has deep true blacks when you're viewing it dead-on, otherwise you can see the backlight, but -- it's totally fine. Don't expect perfection for a $200 device, but -- it's still pretty great. I wouldn't recommend it as a monitor, but mainly because HD resolution (1920x1080) isn't large enough for a display this big, IMO. But for a TV it's perfect. The chromecast works great with this TV. You can get it to control the volume (via a setting in the chromecast menus), and the chromecast is able to turn the TV both on and off via its power button, so everything works like a charm. The display was also packaged in a very eco-conscious way; the packaging was basically all folded cardboard. Overall, SUPER impressed, 10/10 would buy again.

Great!
A great monitor with good sound. I did end up getting speakers later on cause I wanted to but without them, it works perfectly

Great monitor, but it’s very fragile
HP has been making fantastic monitors for years. When I saw this one on sale had to pick it up I’ll standing colors and clarity and lots of adjustments on the bottom. You can’t screw it up. It looks great just about anyway you set it up. The screen is very thin therefore making it fragile I tap the screen on my desk lamp and even though I saw no damage on the back of the monitor I had cracked the screen should be very careful if you purchase this

Patience Will Be Rewarded
This HP 27" monitor replaced a DELL 23" monitor and is a significant improvement. I will caution anyone from jumping to premature judgement, especially if using new video cables as well. Right out of the box, the image, especially text, is a little fuzzy and not as sharp as the DELL, but after couple days of usage the video quality improved significantly and became much better than the DELL. The refresh rate is more than adequate for watching movies. Electronic and mechanical components, and cables too, generally require some usage before they reach optimal performance. Especially appreciated are the rear stereo speakers which get their signals from the same HDMI cable that drives the display. One cable does it all and the sound is more than adequate for casual listening. The volume can be adjusted by using the MS Windows sound adjustment in the bottom status bar. I recommend this monitor for its excellent performance and reasonable cost.

Great monitor for beginners!
Love this monitor! Perfect for my beginner computer setup. I do wish it was mountable without having to buy an attachment, but that’s not a huge deal. Great purchase overall.

It's a great monitor
My family got me this monitor as a present for Father's Day a couple of years ago. Recently, I wound up buying another one so I could have a dual monitor set up. These monitors have great color saturation, they are good looking, and they have a decent refresh rate. Word of warning they are quite large. And they do take up some real estate so make sure you're ready to have big time screens in front of you if you purchase. You won't be disappointed.

So far so good!
I’m thankful I read the reviews. I purchased this monitor on 3/15/2024 It arrived the next day. You’ll have to sign for it so be home!! My only con is I have not figured out how to get the speakers 🔊 to work with my MacBook Air. For some reason my videos use the sound on my MacBook Air. I followed the instructions to fix the sound to 100 although I made it 98 didn’t want to hack my sound card up. I adjusted the resolution. This morning I connected it to my Dell laptop work computer and the sound works on my monitor??? Don’t ask me how I got it to work. My computer detected it and that was that I am using the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor. I will however purchase a switch next month so I can toggle between my work laptop and my personal MacBook. Instead of unplugging the HDMI cord every time I need to use my personal MacBook. I’ll update this post at a later date. My last thought was this monitor is large I feel like NONE of the current pictures on this thread including mine gives you a good indication on the scope of size. I wanted a 32 inch monitor initially. Let’s just say I’m no longer interested in that size anymore.

Nice monitor
I needed a monitor to use with two different Mac laptops. I bought another one a couple of years ago that promised to be compatible and wasn't, and I had to return it. It's been a week with this one, and I couldn't be happier. It is large, and I can leave the two cables for the two laptops plugged in and connect and disconnect them to switch between them. (They cannot be used simultaneously, for the record). I love how light the monitor is, how it looks, and that is matte. Installation was easy, and the laptops recognized them easily.

No Actual Speakers
No actual audio - no speakers or anything. Was going to buy the same product but cheaper with no speakers, but thought why go cheap if I will keep it for a while. Turns out it doesn't have speakers, and I have just bought the same model but 70 odd pounds more expensive.
