Dissappointing new packaging
I love and have a huge collection of puzzles by SmartGames (and ThinkFun, also a good brand) Their old puzzles used to come with nice, hard plastic covers, which made them very portable, as well as allowed me to completely throw away the outer cardboard box, saving valuable shelf or travel bag space. I was very disappointed to open this box and see the cover for this puzzle is a thin, flimsy piece of cheap plastic that just kind of sits on it.. doesn't even snap on or anything. To take it for travel you'd need to bring the whole outer box now,I give the puzzle itself 5 stars ... it's fun and clever, looks good, and feels chunky and well made, so if you plan on keeping the outer box it still might be a good purchase for you. I have too many of these and too little shelf space for that to be an option, though. and I also really like taking them traveling or to restaurants for the kids. The new packaging I give one star. Someone probably got a raise for figuring out how to save a buck on packaging, but I don't think I'm going to buy any more SmartGames if they're like this from now on. I still HIGHLY recommend their older puzzles, though, that come with awesome, compact hard shells, like City Maze and Temple Trap. Even the ThinkFun games that come in drawstring bags are better than what this one has, but the hard shells were best.

Fun for 4&1/2 year old (and coworkers)
Got this game for my 4 and 1/2 year old son to play with when I had to take him to work with me. It started out a little difficult for him. But he likes to fiddle with pieces and I helped him (or let him cheat by glancing at the solution for one piece) when I sensed his frustration climbing. A few coworkers also played with him. He enjoyed it off and on all day. He got through the first 12 starter games. (Haven't tried beyond that yet.) It is challenging but not impossible. He needed help/attention from time to time but had long periods of independent play. Love it. Definitely going to get a few others of the games like this to have on hand for future days that he has to go to work with me.

It's a Winner!!
I got this for my grandson who is 7 and he loves it! It's challenging and something fun that we can do together or he can play it alone. This really encourages problem solving and he loves puzzle type games.

Super fun game
Super fun game, the levels get harder as you go, so it's challenging for all ages. Bought for my 8 year old, who loves puzzle games. A favorite at our house, for sure. The construction of the games is fantastic quality. Definitely recommend!

Not for kids
My kids love these types of games. Bought it for my ten year old and it was beyond his capability. He’s a smart kid, but even I, as an adult, was confused at times
