This lip balm is terrific. I keep a tube on my bedside and one in my purse. So great for keeping lips moisturized. Apply it once. It feels heavenly.

This lip balm is incredibly nourishing and fixes chapped lips almost overnight. It has a subtle, pleasant scent and doesn't feel waxy or heavy on the lips. A little tube that feels luxurious but truly works better than drugstore alternatives.

I’ve been really happy with this lip balm. It keeps my lips moisturized without adding any shine or color, so it looks very natural. The only small downside is the taste—it has a buttery flavor if you accidentally lick your lips, which I’m not a fan of. Other than that, it’s been great. It didn’t cause any irritation for me, unlike some peppermint lip balms I’ve tried before. Overall, I’d definitely buy it again.

At 52, post-menopausal, with dry skin and lips that seem determined to stay dry no matter how much water I drink, I’m exactly the target customer for a luxury lip balm. And honestly, I wanted to love this. Augustinus Bader has built a reputation around advanced skincare science, regenerative technology, and premium formulations. When a lip balm carries a $47 price tag, I expect it to deliver something noticeably better than the dozens of other lip products sitting in my drawer. After several weeks of use, my conclusion is pretty simple: this is a good lip balm, but I don’t think it’s a great one. The texture is very nice. It glides on smoothly, feels comfortable, and leaves the lips soft without feeling greasy, sticky, or overly waxy. It wears well during the day and gives the lips a healthy appearance. I never experienced irritation, dryness, or that uncomfortable tight feeling some balms can leave behind once they wear off. The formula contains the brand’s proprietary TFC8 technology along with a blend of nourishing oils, waxes, and conditioning ingredients designed to support the skin barrier and help reduce moisture loss. Looking at the ingredient list, there is nothing here that concerns me. It’s a solid formula that focuses on moisturizing, protecting, and maintaining lip health. The problem is that plenty of other products do the same thing. What I kept asking myself while using this was: what exactly am I getting for the extra money? My lips felt moisturized. They felt comfortable. They looked smooth. But they never reached a point where I thought, “Wow, this is noticeably better than everything else I’ve tried.” For comparison, I get similar results from Uriage lip products that cost less than half as much. Some of my Korean favorites, including S.Nature, deliver just as much hydration and softness for a fraction of the price. And if I’m spending luxury-skincare money on a lip product, I still reach for Decorté first. That one feels richer, more nourishing, and leaves my lips looking better for longer. What disappointed me most wasn’t that this balm performed poorly. It didn’t. It performed perfectly fine. It’s that I expected something memorable. When I spend nearly fifty dollars on four grams of product, I expect to see a clear difference. I expect deeper hydration, longer-lasting comfort, faster recovery from dryness, or some visible improvement that separates it from the competition. For me, that separation never happened. Who might enjoy this? Someone who already loves the Augustinus Bader brand, prefers lightweight lip products, and wants a luxury balm that feels elegant and comfortable throughout the day. Who may struggle with the value? Anyone comparing performance against other premium lip treatments. There are simply too many excellent options available for significantly less money. I finished this feeling the same way I started: it’s a good lip balm. The issue is that at this price point, good isn’t enough. I expected exceptional.

A decent lip balm. Not the world’s best IMHO, but more convenient than the lip treatment I love in a gel.

You’ll never have chapped lips again. Yep, it’s that good, Therefore; price is not an issue. I apply once in the morning and once before bed and my lips stay moisturized 24/7. The price seems outrageous but once you try it, you’ll throw out all other lip moisturizers. Love it!

So not worth the money!

I never take time to write reviews, but as an esthetician of 10yrs in Minnesota- where everything is always dry and chapped- this is by far the best lip product I’ve ever had and is worth every penny. This is night one and my lips feel 10x better.

Seller didn’t deliver. Product otherwise is great.

Beautiful lip balm, no aftertaste and works well but there is no way it is worth that price.
