This is the book to read if you want it all...Cane! He's the man! After Christian Grey, I thought there was no one who's gonna be as hot but am proven wrong! Can't wait to read the next one!

OH.MY.LORDIt was so fan-freaking-tastic!! I loved loved loved it. Shanora Williams really writes amazing books there's no denying that.KANDY and MR.CANE are just explosive. There's so much going on. I loved everything about this book so muchIm will not give away anything, just do yourself a favour and read this book!!!. TOTALLY WORTH IT!**Watch out for that devil of a cliffy though**❤

This is the first book in the Cane series and is a forbidden/taboo romance. As it is a series this does end in a cliff hanger but is definitely not to be missed, plus the next books are being released in a close timespan.Mr Cane is Kandy’s father’s best friend who she has known most of her life. From when they first met when Kandy was nine there has always been some kind of connection between them. Throughout her growing up, that connection has changed to something else at each stage of her life. From bratty standoff to banter to something so much…..more. Forbidden.I have been eagerly awaiting this series to start as there is nothing more than a steamy forbidden romance. This was so much more though than I originally envisioned and had tremendous depth and emotion. It wasn’t some flighty fluff, no this was some serious AF hotness. Added in with all the steamy temptation, the chemistry, the wanting and the explosive surrender were some very emotive thought process around the guilt and temptation. As for that explosive ending? OMG It was amazing! I simply cannot wait for the next book in the series. So much I went back and read this book twice! Fantastic five stars!

From when she is small Kandy has been drawn to 'Mr Cane' However Cane saw her as his best friends little girl and nothing more. That is until Kandy is no longer a girl, she is a woman and Cane can not ignore the attraction that he feels for her, despite the people in their way.I loved this steamy romance and I admit that at first I was dubious but this is a story of consenting adults with a passionate connection. Yes, he's older and knew her as a child but his attraction is to Kandy is that of an adult man for an adult woman. The big issue is that he's her Dad's best friend and that makes it more taboo. (I would go nuclear if an adult friend of mine was attracted to my daughter- she's an adult but will always be my baby)So lets examine the important stuffattraction rating? - Off the hook!Sexual Chemistry (as adults) - Give me a fan - its hot stuffplot and pace- Both plot and pace were brilliant. This book had great flow and an interesting, difficult, romantic plot.I devoured, and thoroughly enjoyed every page and didn't want to put it down and then it ended.... Yes it ended on a cliffhanger! Shanora Williams you have left me with questions. I need answers and I need them now! Thankfully the next in the Cane series is due out on 12th July so it's not too long. Still, I need more!!For lovers of sexy, romance stories- seriously buy this- you won't be disappointed

What a storyline. This author sure knows how to write big. We have a very young girl Kandy, who has a gigantic crush on Cane a family friend 17 years her senior. We have Derek a Dad with a temper, a gun and a friend whom he saved whilst in the line of duty. We have a triangle of friendships that lead to two people falling more into each other than society considers acceptable. But is age a problem?. But trust loyalty and lies can be. This is a very moving well written, emotional storm, that connects straight away and leaves the reader in one heck of a cliffhanger. Book 3 fortunately is out already. Good.

My first Shanora Williams book!I think made a great choice with Wanting Mr Cane 😊I like that you get both Kandy and Cane's pov. I will be going straight into reading the 2nd book.

Amazing love story, I couldn't put the book down that much interesting to read. I cant wait to read the book number 2.
