Q: Will the app ask to have access to my private information/contacts/photos/camera? I dont trally trust apps that do that.

Hi, Thank you for your question. This APP will not ask for your private information/contacts/photos/camera. In the case that you have an Android smartphone, please note that it will require you to have your location-enabled. This is not due to the APP, but a requirement from Android for the APP's Bluetooth connection to work with Android phones and the scale. Given that this is not a requirement on iOS you will find that iPhones do not ask for the location since it is not a requirement by the operating system for iPhones. Q: Do you have to use the app to see your weight?

Hi Robin, Thank you for your question. You can use the scale without the app but only for body weight which is displayed on the scale screen. If you wish to see your body composition, you must connect to your smartphone via Bluetooth using our free INEVIFIT app. The scale only displays body weight and all other metrics are shown in the app. Please let us know if this fully answers your question.
