Adhesive not very conductive
The foil is fine. The adhesive is, at best, sporadically conductive. I used this for shielding a guitar (strat) control/pickup cavity. Some strips of tape conducted fairly well but others were poor conductors (checked with ohm meter). There is a very simple solution though - just pull out your trusty old soldering iron (you must have one otherwise you wouldn't be doing this) and put a drop of solder between each adjacent strip. Don't forget the short strips between pickups. It takes about a minute to do this. Truth be told, I used to do the same thing with StewMac copper foil tape anyway, just to be on the safe side.

Stick-back Copper
Its copper tape. What more can I say. The adhesive on the back is conductive so when you stick pieces together they are electrically connected. I use this stuff to line single coil pickup cavities. Once grounded it reduces noise.
