Nice subtle sweet profile
I used this on sautéed chicken breast and it gave it a nice sweet flavor to it. Faintly pineapple essence.

Excellent Rub
This rub is really good but make sure you use enough of it to give the flavor. I would by this again for sure.

I didn't taste the pineapple...
I tried the pineapple bbq rub on salmon this morning and I couldn't taste the pineapple flavor at all. Don't get me wrong, it was a great flavor --perfectly balanced. It is a light flavor, so you'll have to go a little heavy on it, but there's no need to add salt. I was expecting a pineapple flavor and that wasn't there at all.The packaging was so nice that if you bundled a few of these up, they would make great Christmas gifts.

Versatile
Used this on smoked split-chicken breast as rub underneath the skin. Worked really nice! Kids loved it.Also, marinated jumbo shrimp for a few hours, and then skewered and grilled those babies! I loved it! Kids and wife thought the ginger was a bit much, so I will use less next time. Not pepper hot, but ginger hot. Will be trying it on ribs or pork soon!

Not what I expected.
It's not bad as far as general seasoning goes. As another reviewer mentioned though the taste of celery is so overpowering! Occasionally I got I bit where I could taste the sweetness of the coconut and pineapple, but most of the time it was celery. Again, not a bad spice for general use, but it definitely didn't give any kind of tropical flavor. I'll hang onto it, but not planning on using it again anytime soon. Too bad.
