Wonderful Company....Wonderful Product
First I want to talk about fantastic company service. Initially they shipped me the wrong product in error. Very quickly after I let them know they shipped me a can of the Cedar-Seal that I originally ordered and told me to keep the first shipment they sent for a future project. Great customer service...5 star. I was refinishing my wife's 5 year old cedar Adirondack chairs which had severely weathered. I sanded them as much as I could and sealed them with Cedar-Seal. The product was easy to apply using an inexpensive brush. Cedar-Seal applies white and drys to a clear finish. It quickly dries and becomes water proof. I am attaching a photo of the finished chairs which shows the great final result I achieved. I would highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to seal cedar. Easy to use superior end result.

As advertised
I used this on cedar pots aged from 2-4 years old. They had never been sealed, stained or painted. After a few years outside in all weather including harsh WI winters, they were in bad shape. I emptied them, power washed in the fall, and used the Cedar Seal this spring. What a great product they look almost new again.Even though it said spray application I used a 4โ brush to apply. The product will get foamy when applying this way, but donโt let that discourage you. Continue to brush liberally into all crevices in all directions. Just do a final brush with the grain. The product dries clear and does lighten up the wood appearance also.I also applied to cedar flower pots I white washed first. It looks great.

Stores well
Bought this sealer to preserve a new cedar chicken coup. It went on well, and slows down the graying process of the cedar. It is non toxic to chickens, but I only applied it to the outside. One year later, I applied it again. The product was just as good as when I first bought it, clean and easy to apply. There is enough for two more applications.

Seems to work well
This product seems to work well. It Is a white milky very runny liquid. So donโt expect anything like the consistency of paint. It goes on white, but does dry clear. I found that the thinner you apply it the faster it will dry and it wonโt leave air bubbles. I have two raised garden beds and one bed dried relatively quickly than the other. The one that took longest to dry was the one I was a little more heavy handed and contained air bubbles. The directions do say to apply a very thin coat and you can apply another cost once it dried. I painted them both outside in 100 degree heat and assumed theyโd dry fast but the next day the second bed ledges were still a little tacky. Not sure why, maybe too hot should have dried though. I may have just been in a hurry and applied too much. But overall they look nice. And one photo you can see the entire bed. Gave it a nice dark hue. The other picture shows the air bubbles

Sealed well without changing the natural color
I used this on a cedar fence about 6 months ago and it seems to be working very well. The natural color is maintaining and the finish is natural (slightly satin). It goes on with a "milky" look, but dries clear. I used one gallon on about 200 Sq feet of fencing with more than one coat (multiple coats on the South-facing area). I would use this again on any wood project where I wanted the natural look of the wood to remain. I also like that there is no toxic odor and cleanup was very easy. I used a compressed air yard sprayer (the kind you pump up by hand) and a brush, but you could use a roller or other sprayer to apply.

Non toxic for your garden beds
I love this stuff. I mainly use on outdoor cedar projects like garden beds and flower boxes. Use a WATER BASED stain first, then coat with the cedar-seal. I buy at least every year for new projects or recoat old ones.

So far so good
It's easy to apply. Goes on milky and then dries clear. No gloss at all, clear finish. I applied it with a brush, there were many little bubbles but they disappeared once it's dried. No fumes at all. We'll see how it holds under weather.

Easy to use. Sprays very easily!
Easy to use. Sprayed it on a cedar playset we were refinishing using my Earlex 5500, 2.0mm tip and the volume adjustment turned almost all the way down. Great coverage after I dialed in the volume. I'll definitely be using more of Tri-Seal's products for some other projects this spring! (Garden beds, planters to be built!)
