I have tried all kinds of stuff, butyrate, colostrum, all the active form B vitamins for the MTHFR mutations, chromium, selenium, TMG, DMG, Wobenzym, ALA, Astaxanthin, Bromelain, Quercetin, GABA, Glutathione, Immune XL, Iodine, magnesium, molybdenum, carnitine, black cumin seed extract, phenibut, royal jelly, propolis, CD, all kinds of digestive aids, CSM/zeolite/charcoal for mold illness, all kinds of probiotics, colon hydrotherapy, liver cleanses, meditation, biofeedback, energy balancing sessions, hypnosis, Kalcker's worming protocol... and that's not even a complete list!I have an entire cupboard stuffed with things that I tried that really did not help me. Nothing has given the sense of well being I have gotten since starting Epicor less than two weeks ago, and nothing has gotten at the intestinal tract problems like EpiCor. EpiCor shuts it down, I mean, just shuts down the intestinal tract problems. No more waking up at 3 am with a roiling intestinal tract, not being able to get back to sleep, in part due to corresponding knee and leg pain I would get with the intestinal roiling. I have suffered from insomnia, too, for several years. It feels like EpiCor is reordering my intestinal biome. I am eating things again that I thought I could not eat again (which as I mentioned is a minor problem because I have gained a little weight). The maintenance dose of Epicor is 1 500 mg capsule per day. I am taking 3-4 caps per day, one with each meal and at bedtime. Initially I was taking one in the morning and if I had any intestinal roiling or gas, I would take an EpiCor and within 20-30 minutes it would be gone. But then I started taking it on a regular basis with each meal and at bedtime, and now I don't get any intestinal roiling or gas. I told the young clerk at the co-op today that I hoped she would feel as good today as I do, because I feel great! I feel better, have more energy and am sleeping better, and taking less of the prescription sleep aid I have had to take to get any sleep, and am taking less antihistamines. I slept through the night all last night until 6:30 am on only half of the prescription sleep aid. Epicor is so much more than promised on the company website or any of the other testimonials or material I have read about it, because none of that material mentioned the intestinal benefits I have experienced from it and amelioration of all kinds of other problems I have had. It is dealing with issues for which I have not found anything to work in years of trying about everything I could. Oh, and it stopped my hot flashes cold. I have always suspected that part of the cause of the hot flashes was intestinal, part hormonal. I found something to deal with the hormonal part of it recently when I had a Zyto reading, that recommended Palmarosa essential oil for me. There is nothing in the literature to support this, but for me, it has balanced my hormones, and it reduced the hot flashes. But I was still waking up sweating, and even if I managed to sleep all night and not wake up, as soon as I would wake up in the morning, within a few minutes I would sweat. The EpiCor has stopped that. No more hot flashes. Obviously, my results may not be indicative of yours, but if you have any of the issues I have (and I have a bunch) it would be worth a try. There are a lot of people whose reviews I have been reading not only on desertcart but other sites that sell Epicor that are very happy with this product, and that now certainly includes me.
