Review: Very heavy book - Book is great but has been printed to A4 size. Because there are over 900 pages, thie makes it very heavy and look like a telephone directory. Inside of the cover there is a 2 inch margin around content on all sides, leading me to believe that it was originally intended to be printed in smaller form factor. Good for people who like to scribble notes, bad for anyone who likes to read away from a desk. Review: The print is so small in relation to the page size - As the title saysโฆ pretty horrible.

A treat for network enthusiasts and computer scientists
Great Book for people that really want to know what's going on behind the scenes. NOT for people without broader knowlege of network technology, contains mathematical background features, best for everyone that's into electrical engineering and computer science. A must read for these folks!

Good book
Good book but it is 922 pages long and as big as the original ps4, so i havenโt gotten time to fully read it to give additional feedback.

Comprehensive and Modern Presentation of Networking
This book is incredibly comprehensive, modern and readable. I'll be reaching for other Tannenbaum titles in the future. I read this book as part of a self-led tour through the CS discipline under the Teach Yourself CS program. I found it be a perfect fit for that reading list, I'm surprised it wasn't the program owner's first choice recommendation. The textbook is a long haul at more than 800 pages, but the content feels well-organized and was generally a pleasure to read.

Arrogance leaking out to formatting.
I haven't even read the content much, but the formatting is not something pleasant to read on. First, the page paddings are way wider than necessary for no reason(I've seen this applies to physical books, too). Like 30% on each side is padding. So if you try to fit the "page" to window, that's still kind of 50% zoom, or if you manually adjust the zoom to properly fit the window, flipping pages is hell. Second, kindle app doesn't support two columns layout with this book, so you'll be having a single page sitting in the middle. Combined with the first problem, the actual content constitutes about 20% of the screen. I assume all this comes from the fact the publisher is being arrogant; it's used as college texts, meaning they don't have to worry about "consumers", like what are they going to do? Complain about the formatting and decide not to graduate? You can't use Kindle Cloud to read this book by the way.
