This is really good quality makeup, it goes on easy and is easy to use. Stays on all day (wore to a con), and looks great. Kind of hard to get off but not impossible, using the right tools.

I'm really good at makeup and this was a very fun and unique challenge for me. This is a gold powder and you have to make sure you have just the right amount for the right consistency. I used the Mehron mixing liquid to combine with this into the paint consistency that I liked. Once I got past that, I put it on with a primer for precautions. I had to let it dry and apply several layers for my desired look. I'm new to body paint so there was some user error, however, this was so easy to use. This can get messy very quick if you're not careful. The gold color was vibrant and I couldn't be happier with the out come. It did not irritate my skin while on and it was easy to wash off with makeup remover oil cleanser. I can't wait to do more looks using this as you can use it for little details as well and not just body paint. A little goes a long way.

Works great, looks fantastic. Does dye the skin a little, but a good scrub will take care of it.

I ordered this to do a full body in gold costume. I thought I would need to use the liquid to make it last but truly the powder covers so much surface area, I was impressed! It says don't breathe it in, and please don't - I accidentally dropped the little bottle on the floor which created a cloud that I inhaled and it did NOT feel good. Also super hard to clean off the floor because it is SO fine but that is my fault, not the product's fault! The main issue I had is that once I sweat (I wore this indoors to a dance party in New Orleans in August), I turned green, which in some angles looked very dark... bordering on blackface. Yes the lighting was not ideal in the pic where I look darker, but trust me, I was DARK GREEN by the end of the night. I even smelled like a copper penny! I don't know that there is anything you can do to avoid this, but it is worth noting in the event you intend to wear this paint knowing you will sweat. My armpits and elbow creases (where I sweat the most) were dark green as well. BE WARNED! Fab product, will turn you into a green monster if you sweat!

Although it is water soluble, it must be applied using with the mixing liquid; which differs from other water based metallic pigments or cakes. Color does wash off; wouldn't say its 100% easy; does not rinse off well. Does require soap and friction. but nothing a nice shower couldn't remedy. Overall I recommend as the level of color on the skin is amazing. It photographs well, holds up well. Doesn't streak like water-cakes tend to do when applying. Covers dark and light skin tones superbly as well as shimmers on hair.

This is an EXTRAORDINARY product that is and does EXACTLY what the description on amazon says. Okay, I'm crazy and use it on soft-plastic fishing baits, not on my eyelids, etc. but I just need to say how much I appreciate this product. The Mehron powder is so fine-grained that it actually goes on much like paint. But, with a soft brush, it can be "feathered" as well. Once I apply the silver to a soft-plastic bait, I seal in place either with a heat gun, a dipping into hot Plastisol, or—my favorite—a thin coat of Mend-It, which is made specifically for soft-plastic lures. A little (actually a TINY) bit goes a long way, so the .5-oz. bottle will last a LONG time. And please note: MEHRON POWDER IS MADE IN THE U.S.A.!!!

I loved using this product to paint my entire body for my Halloween costume. It gave me the exact look I wanted. For the best results, use the solution with it. Although, I used the entire bottle of solution, I had a fourth of the glitter left over in the bottle. The glitter is very fine so I might use it as a makeup highlighter for my face. The application lasted all night long without flaking. However, I was in the shower for at least a half hour scrubbing this stuff off at the end if the night. Also, be careful with the lose glitter. It can easily get everywhere so I suggest mixing and applying it either outside or covering the floor with a ton of garbage bags.
