FM Stereo CD555 Bluetooth Boombox, Silver, 7.00 x 9.75 x 6.00 inches

I purchased the Jensen CD-555RS Red CD Bluetooth Boombox for my mom, and it’s been a wonderful choice. She loves having a simple way to play her CDs while also being able to stream music via Bluetooth. The sound quality is clear and more than adequate for everyday listening around the house. The controls are straightforward and easy to use, which is especially important for someone who prefers simplicity over complicated tech. Bluetooth pairing was quick and worked well, and the CD player handles standard CDs and CD-R/RW discs without any issues. The bright red color is fun and makes the unit easy to spot on a shelf or counter. Overall, this is a reliable, easy-to-use music system that combines classic CD playback with modern Bluetooth convenience. It makes a great gift, especially for someone who still enjoys their CD collection but also wants streaming capability.

I needed a small CD Player for the second (smaller) living room and didn't need something that had really good speakers built into the player because I intended to use my Klipsch Promedia THX 2.1 desktop speakers. This CD player had everything I needed with regards to size, price, and features. I didn't have a tape measure handy, but my photo shows an orange Pearl Jam CD next to it. The CD player is basically the size of a CD case - 5.5 inches on all sides (LxWxH). It takes up very little space. As for the price, my total purchase price after tax was $45.57. I was very comfortable with that even before being able to actually try out the product. After hearing (and seeing) what this player can do, $45.57 is totally worth it. It sounds great! (using the external speakers of course). I have never tried listening to it using its built-in speakers and I don't think I ever will, so I apologize to the people expecting to find out what it sounds like with just the speakers it came with. The CD tray on top opens by hand - there's no button to press to open it, and it really doesn't matter. Less moving parts means less things that can go wrong. The CD hub feels like there's some kind of suspension or cushioning built into the mechanism so that CD's don't skip when carrying the player around - kind of like car CD players back in the day. Secure the CD in, close the top cover, and it shows the total number of tracks on the front display. I don't know if there's an option to have it auto play (I haven't fully explored all the product features yet). The sound quality is awesome. Even the best external speakers won't sound good if the source doesn't give the speakers good signal to process. This one does. High frequencies are crisp and detailed (cymbals, high notes), and the base is clear, full, and not muddy. The XBass button makes all the difference. It just amplifies the sound, not in the sense that it just makes it louder (that's what the volume control is for), but more like it gives the sound more intensity and clarity. All the wire connections are in the back of the player. There's a 3.5mm headphone jack where I connected my Klipsch external speakers, the power cord is right next to it, and another jack for the FM antenna that came with it. The power cord/adapter isn't very long. I'd estimate it to be between 2-3 feet. There's Bluetooth connectivity as well. I am very happy with this purchase and this product has exceeded my expectations.

It's a great little CD Player with a radio and Bluetooth. Easy to use and sounds decent for such a small unit. The only reason I placed it at 4 stars and not 5 is because it doesn't have a remote. You have to reach to it every time and then find the correct button, amid a confusing button layout.

This is exactly what I wanted! I returned two other ones because there were so many buttons and the user manuals were not user friendly. This Jensen one I bought has a good instruction manual that is straightforward. I love that it is small so it fits well on my nightstand. I wanted a cd player that has an auto replay button. The other two I returned did have auto replay, but you had to remember how many times needed to click on the very small buttons to get it to work. All in all, this cd player is perfect for me. Definitely worth the money compared to other cd players.

easy to use, has really good sound, kind of pricey but worth it so far have no troubles playing my cd's it works great, easy to use the FM radio as well controls are easy to use, very good brand I recommend it

I loved this player when it worked. I have had 3 of the same. I had to return them. The company was good at replacing but the fact is, I used it about a year for the CD specifically and each one it all of a sudden it just stopped working. The radio worked but the CD stopped. I had them replaced but decided this time to throw it away. I am so disappointed because it fit perfectly where I needed it and worked fine till it didn’t. So sorry to give a bad review. It is not towards the company, just the product itself.

This isn’t the fanciest CD player, but I really like it. I haven’t used the aux or bluetooth inputs yet. Pros: It’s pretty small, I love how it doesn’t take up a lot of space. The sound is clear and gets fairly loud or quiet. It may not be party quality but great for family use and small gatherings. I like the rolling volume knob rather than push button, it gives great control over the volume. It has repeat 1 and repeat all functions, super handy! I like the look, it’s modern yet the functions are fairly traditional. It’s easy to use and figure out straight out of the box. Cons: There is no counter on the cd, so you can’t scan a song for a certain part or see how far into a song you are. The tuner is really outdated, I’m not a big fan of the rolling tuner. The antennae is a cord. Some people might prefer that but I don’t.

My kids, 9, 6, and 4, have been using this for a couple months now and it is working perfectly. This is despite of having been knocked onto the ground several times. We have a couple of high quality wireless speakers and of course the sound doesn't hold a candle to them but it is still good quality for playing cds and listening to the radio. The sound loses quality the louder you turn it up. My oldest has easily been able to hook up the speaker to the iPad using Bluetooth. The hardest thing is to adjust the radio stations- you have to move the dial very tiny amounts. Overall, it's excellent and considering getting another one to keep in another part of the house except it's so small, light, and portable that it is easy for them to carry it to whatever room they want it in.

This arrived and has yet to work. It comes with an American plug and 120v as standard. It says in the user manual it will take up to 240v input but this is clearly not the case. Don’t sell products on Amazon.co.uk if they don’t work in the UK
