Fresh and soft!
Received my Dried Bracken (Fernbraken) from Amazon today and couldn't be happier! The product is incredibly fresh, with an expiration date extending all the way to 2026. While I'm not sure where it was grown and processed, I'm excited to cook with it and enjoy its flavors. I will upload some photos later. After soaking Gosari overnight, I used it to make a delicious beef soup. The Gosari turned incredibly soft and added a fantastic flavor to the dish. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to add a unique and tasty twist to their meals. I've also uploaded some photos of the process and final result. Thank you for providing such a wonderful product!

Skip. Inconsistent quality.
These are mixed with new and old gosari. I soaked and boiled them with some still being darker and harder as others basically hydrated enough to become mush. I'm extremely dissatisfied by this product and advise you just visit your local Korean grocery store. Very inconsistent quality. In the picture you can see the darker pieces are thinner while there are ones that have basically lose their structural integrity due to over hydration.

Not so high of the quality. Need some know-hows when cooking this.
It got furry buds, meaning it was harvested too late. The packaging says it is "packed" in Korea, meaning there's a good chance of it is a mix of some low quality bracken from somewhere who knows. But it still can make some decent dish.Make sure you empty and refill the water a few times when soaking and boiling this. That will rinse out the bitter toxins from bracken.Use onion and garlic. Those will hide any remaining earthy flavor from it.

Made yukgaejang
Made yukgaejang with this gosari. Good sized pack, 6oz (weighed out on a good scale) dried made about 4 cups rehydrated gosari. I boiled it for 15 mins then let it soak overnight. It was plump and perfect in the morning after about 7 hrs.
