Excellent remaster/reissue. The sound quality problems of the original 1997 version have been addressed and then some - no more boosted, brittle high end, and no more anemic bass. This new release has better frequency balance, and also better clarity and instrumental separation, particularly around Bonham's drums (the snare and cymbals have never sounded this good, even on some of the highly regarded bootlegs). The 1969 tracks are noticeably improved, and the 1971 tracks are massively improved. My only disappointment is that the newly added bonus tracks are all grouped on Disc 3. It would've been great if Jimmy Page had taken the same "reimagined & expanded" approach as he did to the redone 2007 version of The Song Remains the Same - he could have put these BBC tracks in their original session order. However, I understand why he did it this way - reordering the tracks would've required very awkward splits in the various sessions, or else would have required 4 CDs (and who knows how many LPs) instead of 3. Overall, I'm thrilled to finally be able to hear the Zep BBC tracks in the sound quality they always should have had - and many of the bonus tracks are real gems too. (The final three, sourced from shortwave radio recordings, sound awful, but it's good to have them for posterity, and they're stuck at the very end so you don't have to listen to them.)

This music collection that is Led Zeppelin The Complete BBC Sessions has an abundant amount of live studio sounding tracks that include some of their well known songs: Heartbreaker, A Whote Lotta Love, Black Dog, Stairway to Heaven,etc. There are also some other multiple songs that are very memorable to listen to in this collection that include: You Shook Me, What is and What Should Never Be, I Can’t Quit You Baby, Going to California, The Girl I Love She Got Long Wavy Black Hair, Sunshine Woman, How Many More Times etc. I admit that I obtained the opportunity to purchase track 5 of this music collection via Amazon by the July 14 2019 timeframe and I obtained the opportunity to purchase the rest of this enjoyable music collection at a later timeframe via an online amazon gift card gifted to my husband and I from my mother in law. This is a good music collection to listen for eclectic music listeners who are receptive to hearing live sounding music coupled with rock and blues/soul music melodies.

I had the one with 2 cds but lost one, so I decided to replace it with this complete 3 cd set! I’ve so far listened to 2 cds and am glad I got this! This set is timeless! Amazon shipped fast too!

A worthy addition to anyone loving Led Zeppelin or enjoying great good classic rock. This is must addition to anyone collecting Zep's music, the third music and the audio mix for the whole set make it worth the purchase. Zep at their prime, the live quality of this one is hard to top, amazing to hear the four "virtuosos" in action on this live recordings. Only reason of not having a five star is that if you have the previous BBC Sessions CD you might not like to have two CD's of many of the same songs, unless you are a die hard fan. For first acquisition though, completely commendable and enjoyable!
