I bought this for my son, and he loves it. His only complaint is that it tends to jam.

The paintjob and attachments are nice, and it also shoots harder than the previous generations of the Recon and the Retaliator. Overall it's really nice

Nerf gun is fun to use and it doesn't stick. My daughter plays with it all the time. Jamming frequency is low. The value of the toy was great for the price.

Simple, fun, effective, and light. Shoots well and easy to mod or use for parts. Will get another if a good deal on this pops up again. More than worth the money spent. Shoots great with waffle darts (dart zone and others).

Brand new the priming slide wouldn't move all the way and was not able to shoot darts. I spent an hour following a YouTube video to disassemble and reassemble a Nerf Retaliator (a very similar blaster) and that fixed it. Once working this is a fine blaster but you must pull the top priming slide fully back and fully forwards to shoot, otherwise the darts often jam. This makes it difficult for my 6- and 8-year-olds to operate reliably. Kids will have an easier time with non-magazine-fed blasters like the Elite Jr. series, rotating drum blasters, or other intelligent air restrictor blasters. The shield attachment looks cool but is unusable on the Recon because the attachment point is on the priming handle which you must grip from the top to use reliably; it also provides limited actual utility. The stock is great to keep an extra magazine (not included) but is too short to use as an actual stock, even for kids. The proximity barrel looks great and is unobtrusive.

Me llego el día acordado y más temprano de lo dicho la caja venia en excelentes condiciones la esta super bien lo único que no me gusto fue el escudo es muy facil de quitar si recargas rápido puede que lo tires pero no importa aparte no se puede ver muy bien con el escudo 9/10

Das Repetieren geht etwas hakelig und sorgt am Anfang bei den Kids öfter für Frust, bis sie es drauf haben, den Schlitten mit Krawall in den hinteren und vorderen Anschlag zu bringen. Unpraktisch finden wir auch, dass man das Mag nur im gespannten Zustand (Schlitten hinten) abnehmen kann. Klare Abwertung für das 12er Kastenmagazin: die Federspannung ist bei vollem Magazin zu stark, so dass die Original-Darts sich auch bei kurzer Liegezeit verformen und auch nach oben aus dem Mag rausgedrückt werden (schon bei 20° C -wie soll das erst im Sommer werden!). Es kommt öfter zu Ladehemmung, Rohrkrepierern (Dart wird einem vor die Füße "gespuckt" oder bleibt im Lauf liegen) und hoher Streuung. Mein Sohn schießt deshalb meistens ohne die Laufverlängerung. Die Anbauteile (Lauf, Schaft, Visierschild) sind kompatibel mit anderen NERFs, bspw. dem Elite Commander. Die beiden NERF Rails sind praktisch, eine weitere unter dem Lauf wäre gut gewesen. Wenn man Lauf und Schaft abbaut, wird sie kurz und sehr handig. Low quality product, hanging darts inside devices all time, unable to push or pull the charger clip release. The plastic quality have roughly surface in front , poor quality Control 😕. Request to replace or return

Bought it as a pair with a retaliator, in comparison, it shoot slightly harder and pull weight is heavier, magazine is opaque on both side but with rubber corner ( to handle rougher use ? ). Attachments are ok, but I would not use the shield. again like the retaliator, the rail on the pull slide could make operation more difficult than it should be. otherwise a very good springer to start with.

It was a good purchase as a gift for my younger brother. He really liked it.
