Egg and Spoon Race Game

This was so cute and not nearly as messy as using real eggs! My kids and their cousins and friends loved this game even though they had to practically hold the plastic eggs together from the beginning. The plastic eggs are supposed to stay together on the plastic spoons and fall apart when dropped to reveal an egg-yolk looking beanbag in the middle. But the eggs didn't really stay together well at all. I think a little sticky tape on one side helped for awhile. But I was actually surprised how much the kids liked this game anyway. I just had to put the game out of play rotation because it frustrated me so much!

If you are looking for a game that doesn't involve the tv, joy sticks or batteries this is your game! My kids cannot get enough of this game. Its great for all ages and lots of fun, even though its surprisingly simple. We had some minor issues with the eggs "breaking" before falling but the kids figured out how to fix it on their own and were not bothered by it. I don't fault the manufacturer because if you want it to "crack open" when it falls then you need it to come apart easily. Scoop it while you can! These are harder and harder to come by.
