Thankful for this book
This book NOT only has many recipes to follow BUT explains the history behind the foods. I've NEVER liked history until this book. Don't get me wrong it's NOT history like school taught us, it's informative about how the items were made and used for. I've already began making and storing many foods in this book.

Tons of good information.
I love this book. So much so that I have declared the first full weekend of April to be The Feast of Fat Boris. My family is going to gather and make some of these foods, and harvest and prepare the local edible plants. Then the Feast of Fat Boris will begin. Get this book!
