It is easy to pop, eat, and clean. The taste depends upon what you put in it (duh). If you put in coconut oil with some salt, it taste better than if you cook just the popcorn alone. (Palm oil gives it a yellow color.) Is it hot when you pull it out of the microwave? Sure, but isn't everything. Taking the lid off will cool it very quickly, and I'd rather deal with a simple lid than wrestling with a hot bag that to open. Not all of the kernels pop, but my experience is that has less to do with the popper than with the popcorn. Old popcorn dries out and can no longer pop. Put a tsp of water in a quart mason jar filled wit popcorn, and that often helps to rejuvenate it.

This popcorn popper is amazing!! Very quick shipping! It arrived in less than 24 hours from the time I ordered it! That still amazes me that Amazon can deliver items so quickly.I made four batches of popcorn in it right after it arrived and each one was delicious. Because of some of the reviews I read before ordering, I was concerned about the popcorn burning. That did not happen. I have a relatively new microwave. The instructions said to cook for two minutes, but it did not seem long enough because the popcorn was still actively popping. So 2 minutes and 30 seconds works best for my situation. The popcorn bowl and lid wash very well and collapse easily for convenient storage.I am very pleased with this purchase!

Absolutely love it! I sometimes add a tablespoon of oil (not necessary) because I like the taste better and the flavoring or salt sticks better this way. It takes about 4 minutes in my microwave. The popcorn maker is a convenient bowl and so easy to clean! I am gifting this to a friend too!Update: my friends loved it, so I ordered 4 more for them. My friends and I are using it to make steamed vegetables in the microwave too. It made our lives easier.

Love this product. Leaves a few kernels in the bottom in but all else is good. I like my popcorn plain but there is an option for adding oil and salt. It compresses to a compact size for easy storage and clean up is a breeze. I was concerned about the extremely flexible material, but that proved to be no problem at all. Would recommend it to my friends. And, as always, dealing with Amazon is just wonderful with packaging, service and any returns!

Felt kind of flimsy at first, but after using it a couple of times I love it! It collapses for storage. My kids love to grab it by the handles and shake it once to open- it makes a popping sound. You just put a little popcorn, oil and seasoning in the bottom, pop it in the microwave and eat it right out of the bowl. If you use the right amount of oil and seasoning (we use salt) it tastes better than those bag microwave popcorns.

I got this for two year old son who loves popcorn. He loved pouring the popcorn into the maker. He watched it pop the popcorn and was happy to care the whole bowl to the table by the handels that where not hot at all. Just had to make sure that i removed the lid so he did not get burnt by the steam. So A+ here.

This is the most magical thing! NO KIDDING! Healthy popcorn ... and then you can mess that up, if you want with butter, salt, etc - teehee! No mess and absolutely delicious! I'm buying one for everyone I know.
