I only have one word for this item and that is BADA$$ !!!

A good portable chopper
It is somewhere between a hatchet and an axe in size. The edge was fairly blunt, and the point is chisel rather than pointy. I can work the edge with a file. It is just what I expected, more or less.

Small enough to be portable
Heavy enough to break down whatever might be in the way. Just be prepared to spend a lot of time putting a usable edge on it. Mine came completely blunt. EDIT: after using it to split some old deadfall for firewood, I noticed something just wasn’t sitting right. After each chop, the angle of the cut was slanted to the left. I started to get frustrated because I hate when I’m aiming for the same spot, but the blade never makes flush contact in the area I’m hitting. Stopped, flipped it over, and saw the head of this is mounted incredibly cockeyed. If you plan on using this thing, check it upon delivery. Don’t make the same mistake I did, and use it before giving a proper in depth once over. Very unhappy with this.
