Very happy with the new book.

Bought this for my son. This is his first car and we wanted to have all the resources to repair his car. It is a nice well made manual that will come in handy for years.

Already has come in handy while working on my Chevy Cruze. Has all the information I need, and very clear and easy to read.

I bought Haynes manuals years ago for different model vehicles (1980)'s. What I did notice is the new manual has a different type of paper (2018). Years ago, the paper was a bit glossy and stout and more resilient to oily smudges from your hands as you worked. The new manual is printed on newspaper/paperback style paper and will just absorb any oils you have on your fingers/hand. That was a little disconcerting but will adjust. 5 stars would have been left if the original type of paper content was part of the manual. The information contained seems to be very precise so I will only include future critiques based on that as I do my own repairs.

Great auto repair manual. It's the exact same as the Chiltons one, but seeing as the Haynes publishing company publishes the Chiltons manual and they use word for word and picture for picture the same information, this gets the 5 stars. It's a great manual with step by step instructions that are very clear and easy to understand.

Very detailed instructions of how to do something is not what's in this manual. It assumes you know how to do the operations already because the book simply glances over any specific details. It's best to use this book as a supplement to a YouTube video or internet article. For example, I wanted to know how to flush my radiator's cooling system. I went to the section about that and found that the drain plug was located behind the under body splash guard on the passenger's side of the vehicle, but the book neglected to tell me what tools I would need to take off said splash guard--it just skipped on by to the flushing instructions. I had to look up a YouTube video and an article on how to do that. A similar deal happened with the article about changing my spark plugs. It's the little things that a weekend DIY'er generally won't understand and the book fails to address them in that regard.
