I have purchased 4 of these. The price is for a single basket. There is no way to choose a color or pattern that I found. You just get whichever is sent…. Although I didn’t have any choice in pattern or color,I can say that all of the ones I received are beautiful. They ranged in size from a smaller,19” basket to a really large 22”. Some were a tighter weaves and more stiff. Others were looser…. I really love these but no choice in colors. **Q: Can we request specific colors?** A: Sure. However, the basket usually have several colors, so anything we chose to meet your request will be a bit subjective. **Q: Can I wash my produce in this?** A: You won't want to wash produce in this. It does absorb water and, the way it's made, will not be sanitary for washing food. The only reason to use water on this basket is to reshape it. Remember, this is a market basket- and a very fine one. **Q: What size is appropriate for 2 year old to carry her books in?** A: The small would be good ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Beautiful *by D***E on September 26, 2025* Baskets are beautiful. And finally got one for my 30th birthday for myself. I love the colors and it was super easy to shape and the instructions were so helpful! Only thing to note is it has a very strong smell and some of the color might seep out when you are putting it in the water but that wasn’t an issue. I love it and plan on using it to take with us everywhere! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/333038453-bolga-zaare-market-basket-handmade-in-ghana-africa-by-women](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/333038453-bolga-zaare-market-basket-handmade-in-ghana-africa-by-women) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
