Coloring Europe: Magical Greece

Love Love Love this book! It's 120 pages, and what's special about this book, is that the right side is the black and white illustration to color, while the left has a postage stamp, and a brief description of what your coloring. For instance " The Nympth Chloris, she is associated with spring and growth" or "Ocean Scenery, Santorini. Author Nikos Kazantzakis described the ilsands of the Aegean as a gateway connecting the real world and the dream world" It's a personal touch that I really enjoy. The book is a combination of antiquity, and modern Greece... food, store fronts, and buildings. I loved it so much, I bought the entire series. I use artist grade wax colored pencils, and they do great on the pages. This series is so bright and fresh, it's wonderful to see a new kind of coloring book... informative, as well as fun to spend time relaxing while you color. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I bought this before going to Greece and I loved coloring what I would be visiting. Great fun.

The pages are great. They are not perforated for easy tear out. This borders on being almost an adult coloring book.

This is a beautiful coloring book, with lovely clean lines to color, with images that bring to mind all that Greece knows and loves! I've bought twice now, and will probably be back for more!

Easy and great book to start coloring!

Love this book, hours of pleasure during the lockdown. Love the one sided pages so there is no bleeding of pens through the paper. I found the subjects very relaxing and very infectious to look forward to colouring each day. I used coloured pencils for most of them and added fine liners for the small intricate details which worked well.

I love these Colouring Europe colouring books. This one called Magical Greece is just as good as the rest of the range. It has a vast range of subjects to colour, some are quirky and so much fun. I strongly recommend these books. The paper is thick and it is printed on one side only, so no bleed through, a brilliant buy.

Great quality thick paper with pictures on one side only so the colour doesnt go through. Great for a gift. Very pleasantly surprised with this colouring book.

Die Seiten sind schön dick und hochwertig, die Blätter nur auf einer Seite bedruckt (auf der Rückseite ist lediglich eine Erklärung zum Motiv) und es sind einige schöne und nicht zu detailreiche Landschaften, Ruinen, bekannte Gebäude und Sehenswürdigkeiten mit dabei.Götter, Blumen, Vasen und Ornamente, teilweise von alten Fresken entnommen, finden sich hier auch. Klar, da werden auch Klischees bedient, aber in diesem Fall auf eine schöne und zum Malen anregende Art.Was mir persönlich nicht ganz so gut gefallen hat, waren die Bilder mit Tellern voll typisch griechischer Speisen und ein Paar Sneakers zum Ausmalen ist auch nicht so mein Ding, ich halte mich lieber an die Landschaften. Wenn Menschen auf den Bildern auftauchen, sehen sie immer ziemlich kindlich-naiv aus, was zum gut gemachten Umfeld auch nicht so gut passt, finde ich. Aber das ist Geschmackssache.Davon abgesehen finde ich das Buch toll und habe schon mit dem Ausmalen begonnen.
