Stuff works great. I live in Manhattan and have used this probably 10 times over the past 6 months. On the subway, walking home from bars at night, late nights at work, annoying protestors crying about whatever is trendy that week....Since I can't get away with using my 2A American birthright as easily in NYC I use this instead. Some crackhead gets too close...POM!....some obnoxious drunk in my face outside a bar...POM! Protestor waving some foreign flag in my face & chanting words I don't understand..."POM!" My girl carries one also. It shuts them down instantly and gives me time to walk away while I laugh at them. It's a great alternative to actually physically hurting someone & having the corrupt NYPD arrest me for protecting myself. It's very small and easily kept in a pocket and quickly deployable.

This pocket-friendly pepper spray with a clip has been great to have on hand for wild dogs that roam our neighborhood. Most of the time, just carrying myself confidently is enough to make them stop charging and back off. It gives me peace of mind knowing I have a less-lethal option if needed. The housing design is smart because the clip pivots, allowing you to carry it in whatever orientation works best. With a little practice, I found it works best to keep it in my pocket with the nozzle facing outward so when I retrieve it, my thumb naturally slides under the safety flap and I’m ready. I’ve only had to spray it once at a dog that ignored verbal commands. The spray distance is around 10 feet. It didn’t actually make contact because the dog turned and ran as soon as it saw the spray, so I can’t speak to how intense it is, but it did exactly what I needed and kept my family safe, and I will update this review if anything changes!

I have carried these for years, replacing them whenever I lose one (read below) or one expires on me. I spent quite a while researching what you ACTUALLY want in an oc spray, as opposed to what marketers tell you you want. i also carry a pistol daily, but i have found experientially that spray will cover 90% of violent problems that awareness/talking your way out/running won't solve. the gun is something i will use if i have to, but i obviously would prefer not to. the spray falls in this (very large) defensive space between retreat and shoot. this is perfect for several reasons: -good percentage of capsaicin. the hotter the better. this is what you want. -it's a spray, not a gel or a mist. the spray is superior to a hard to aim gel or an easily dispersed/shorter range mist. the 10-15ft squirting spray is most reliable. -all that UV dye crap is BS. you don't need it. i dont even know if this has it; feel free to ignore this marketing gimmick. it's a quaternary concern at MOST when considering a defensive spray. -slim profile. you want it to be as light and easy to carry as possible. not carrying your self defense spray means you don't have it. this is very easy to carry. -user friendly. it's got a safety mechanism thats easy to use and that will prevent NDs while not getting in the way in a defensive situation. -carry clip: the only reason this loses a point is because the clip isn't as robust and snug as a cheap potmetal leafspring clip might be. i understand this is cheaper, so it's really not a big deal. still, the clip has caused me to lose the spray once or twice over five years. not ideal, but superior to a lack of any carry clip. it gives you a solid option for carry, but it could be better. -cost: it's great how cheap it is for this quality -customer service: the carrier lost my order, and the company immediately made it right. I have used many sprays over the years, but for the past five plus years, this is what i have both used and handed out to friends and family. I always test function a new spray before i carry, and I've never once had a lemon from this company (and, again, I've bought a LOT from them). tl;dr This is the optimal OC spray for daily carry, and I believe every person should have one.

We walk our small dog. Years ago we had a chow grab another small dog we had and had him in his mouth like a shark. He was ok but was injured. The chow was off his leash. The owner was not very nice. It’s ALWAYS good to carry this product with you. We also have a lot of coyotes here. I don’t like having to use this spray, but when push comes to shove, there is no other choice. I chose this seller’s product because I liked the safe design in order to open it. Plus I got three in a pack for a very affordable price! Now I feel more secure and know that I have my spray if I need it. Wonderful seller!!!

I've carried this model in my bag, pocket or at waist for over 2 years now, never had any issues other than when 1 of the carry clips broke (out of 4), I used one up defensively before I broke one, got 5 uses out of it. Handful of big dogs & a fent zombie in the gas station parking lot. They decided they be somewhere else immediately, whether canine or crackhead. It's clear & easy to clean up, doesn't make a huge mess like others I've tried, which is actually really nice, much less likely some bystander gets upset at you for using it.

These are just the right size for pockets, backpacks, attached to a dog leash, for a purse…well, just about anywhere. It clips to your pants and is hardly noticeable. I barely felt it on my morning walk. I bought these three pack so I would have one always in a coat jacket and one to take when I travel and one for spare. I like that that these are flip up and spray style as this seems easier to me than some of the other brands. Lots of cool colors too! Just hope I never have to use, but nice to feel a bit safer on my walk.
