Easy to set up, minimizes mess, and protects from wind
While remodeling our kitchen, we decided to build new cabinet doors which required painting. After researching the best techniques and tools to paint, we decided to buy a paint sprayer to make quick work. We wanted an area to paint that would protect the rest of the garage from overspray. Many YouTube videos recommended a paint tent such as this one. There were some smaller less expensive tents, but my husband is 6’3” and wanted it to be taller and have a bit more space to paint multiple doors at a time. This tent worked well for him. He still had to bend over but not as much as some of the smaller tents. He said it was easy to set up and easy to clean up and put it away. It’s still in good shape for future painting projects. I recommend this paint tent to minimize mess and shield from wind while painting.

Easy to put together
I’m only giving it a 4 star because it was unfortunately too small for my needs, so I was unable to keep it and actually use it, so I don’t know how it would have held up. It was super easy to put together, took me probably 5 minutes. The hardest part was taking the poles out, but once’s again, not all that difficult if you went slowly and pushed vs pulled. The poles do seem a bit flimsy. I bought a different tent originally that was 10 ft wide from a different company, and after 1.5 hours of attempting to put together, I gave up and bought this one. I liked that this one “holes” to anchor the poles into on the ends vs pins that don’t stay in place.

stores in small space
Nice compact spray tent. It's both very portable, so I can move it where I need it, and quick to set up; and easy to store away.

Great Portable Paint Tent
This is a replacement paint tent for one that served its time. I actually prefer this one over my previous spray tent, because of its slightly smaller overall size, plus it fits perfectly on top of the card table I keep it on. This tent is definitely for smaller projects, but it's still roomy enough for taller projects. It definitely prevents overspray from getting outside of the tent, which is a huge plus. Two downsides: It would be nice to have some loops at each of the corners so I could attach the tent to the table legs I store it on. This would guarantee no chance of it being blown or knocked off the table. Second downside: It really is a pain to fold up, which is why I always have it ready to go.

Multiple uses for this tool
I purchased this for spray painting in my very windy area, but found it is also useful for containing dust thrown off by grinding and polishing small to medium sized parts. In the pics, I show a cage for a 1915 GE reciprocating table fan after I stripped off more than a hundred years of paint. Underneath the paint I found brass-plated steel and used a coarse brush on my Dremel to polish the surface and especially the attachment points. Due to rainy weather, I had to do the polishing in my workshop and the enclosure kept the dust from coating my workbench. You can see in the second picture how much fine particulate matter was contained. Yes, it is a bit challenging to fold back up, as other reviewers have said, but the usefulness far outweighs my comical efforts to put the genie back in the bottle. Lol

Small projects only
A lot smaller than I imagined it’s only good for furniture, drawers, or small projects but other than that it does the trick
