I bought this to help My Sister who arm was hurting so bad,She said it helped her so much.

The metal stiffeners (splints) are very sharp and quickly cut through the material. I bought this for an 88 year old woman who is very petite and the product began failing in 2 days. I originally thought I had received a faulty item so I ordered a replacement only to have the second fail just as quickly. When the metal splints start coming through, they can cut the patient as well as the caregiver. Gloves don't stand a chance.I recommend that the manufacturer address two issues:1. The seams holding the splints are very weak and need better reinforcement.2. The metal splints appear to be stamped from sheets which crate very sharp edges. If these splints were sanded on the edges or otherwise treated to dull their sharpness, it would also help the device last longer and not to harm or injure the user.

After a short while the metal inside that keeps the splint straight pokes out of the material. Was not able to use this very long so this was very disappointing

I bought them for my mother who is 91 anc contracted si I use them to help her to straighten her arms

I buy these for my special needs son . He is a thin young adult. He is strong so the metal piece break through the material within a month or so. I buy them frequently. They are better then others.

Keeps your forearm secure, but pinches the skin around the inner elbow.
