just a tad darker than anticipated but looks ok.

Bought this for my coffee table after my friend confused my table with a footrest and rubbed off a little bit of finish. Decided to get this just based on reviews, and boy was I happy. The little streaks of stripped finish bothered me and I had the "it will never be the same" mentality. Well I rubbed the marker into the streaks a couple times, wiped off the excess with a cloth right after, and now I truly cannot tell where they were. Really great!

I have these cupboards in my kitchen that are dark cherry wood. I mean really dark. One of the covers had a chip the size of a dime on the face of it which stuck out like a sore thumb against the dark covered. This little felt pin marker thing did the trick. You have to get creative when using it though otherwise it will leave just a big black spot. Like dot it on and then wipe some off and repeat these steps so you can get the wood grained appearance like the rest of the cupboard. Worked like a charm.

I have kids & a touch of OCD. So, when I started to see scratches on my NÉW tables and side tables, I kind of panicked because every time I looked at the tables that was all I could see. It took me a while to decide what color to choose, but ultimately decided on this one. It was a great match! It’s not perfect, and you can tell where I messed up in some spots but that was user error. I am glad I have this pen because now I don’t feel as crazy when the table gets scratched by the kids, dogs, etc.

I noticed a few scuffs and scratches on my brand new bedroom furniture just after the "white glove guys" had delivered it. I was tempted to call and get a replacement, but the bed in particular is huge and heavy and I just new it would take forever to take it apart and get the new one built. I did lots of research and watched some youtube videos and decided on purchasing this product to fix it myself. The bedroom set is described as cherry, but the color swatch for this pen seemed to be the closest. And . . . It worked perfectly. Just a little dab here and there, wipe off the excess, and it covered the scratches amazingly. So happy I decided to just go for it because it saved me from having people in my home for god knows how long and I probably would have ended up with the same problem. Great product!

I am salvaging the quartersawn white oak trim in my house and some of the trim was damaged during removal requiring the use of stainable fill to fix the damaged spots. I used a dark walnut penetrating stain to match other trim in the house but the filled spots stained a light gray and stood out. I tried a few other scratch repair markers without good results. The best result was actually from a brown Sharpie marker but it had too much of a reddish undertone. However, the Mohawk black-brown marker turned the fill from light gray to dark brown. I can still tell that where the repair spots are but they match the stain much better. Unless you are really looking at the woodwork, the repaired areas no longer attract attention. Excellent product and I'm glad I purchased it.

Easy to use

Once in a while you get a product that exceeds expectations and does what it is designed to do! I am building a Natural Amber Guitar and had filled some holes with KwikWood Wood Repair Epoxy. The Epoxy is an off white color and stuck out like a sore thumb. I tried other stain markers that didn't stick and just wiped off and didn't even really match the wood. This stain marker matched perfectly and didn't rub off. My experience was great but I am not going to say this will work one hundred percent of the time, it just depends the wood you are matching, but for me, it worked flawlessly and I will buy other colors for my other guitar builds.
