Have only used for light duty needs overlanding, so I can't vouch for the claimed strength.

This is a very nice and heavy parachute cord. I have used it to hold some heavier things, and it works great without stretching.

Need more than 550, this upgrade helps. All of my different size and brands I have bought over the years have been well made, so I go by price......unless you need a specific color. Color price vary. The paracord is sun resistant, rot resistant, and easy to tie, no slipper and reasonably easy to untie.

This paracord is a life saver the things you can use this for is endless. This a must have you will end using it on things you had no idea you would ever Use the paracord for . Here is one of my examples. I was wondering what I could use to fix one of my chain link fence post i have a slope from yeas of rain it started to lean so bad . I didn't have a fence stretcher or someone to help me lift a a corner fence post with concrete still intact on the fence post. That's when my paracord came to mind for leverage it worked fence post was up and fresh concrete to reinforce the post. I was still wondering how I was going to stretch my chain link fence enough to reattach it to fence post .paracord came in handy again wrapped paracord around fence post and chain link. With paracord. Then used it like a medical turniequit kept twisting it then tied it off to finish bolting the the chain link to the post .it was absolutely a life saver.
