My desk has a glass top and the pad adds a little protection to the glass as well as a little pizzazz. To describe its texture, soft and silky are the two main words to use. I like the comfort it has. Not to thick. Not to thin. Very happy with the print and how it's quality was when it arrived. It's smooth for my mouse too (which unfortunately just crapped out on me a week ago) and my favorite part about it is the pad underneath. The underside doesn't move, glide, or even shift and I've been doing college homework and reading college textbooks on it with no issues. I get a lot of compliments on it and it's very appealing to the eye. When I get the chance I'll definitely buy another one when the time comes. Edit: 2 years later and it's still in the same condition I got it in. This is a top quality product!! I had it roll up in a storage box for a month when I moved and it laid out nicely once I set up my new office! Edit: Year 3 (2024) just buy it!! 💚 it hasn't lost its color at all and still looks brand new. I just graduated and passed my boards. This thing has soaked up more tears and energy drink spills and cleans up so nicely. I just love this company and hope they've kept their quality the same for new buyers!

Its a good size if you have lots of room at your set up, seems durable but is not super thick, its comfortable and the mouse glides smoothly on it. I was scared of spills at first but when I spilt my coffee on it it was eay to clean right up and didn't stain! The colors and pattern are bright and look just like the picture and is great for the price. Makes your set up look clean and cute!
