Sanco Industries 88015 Fountain Algaecide, Clarifier Formulated for Small Ponds and Water Features, 8 ounces,1, Yellow

Our small approximately 10 gallon fountain had become an algae breeding ground that needed to be cleaned continuously and still built up algae every day, to the point of constricting the flow down to a trickle and leaving a scum in the basin. The first application of this product was made about one week after the fountain had once again been emptied and refilled with fresh water, but was once again growing algae (we live in a hot climate). The first application was 2 capfuls of product (more than the recommended amount because I couldn’t do the math to reduce it sufficiently😄) and almost at once the algae in the fountain basin was gone and the rest that was building up on pump & in the tube gradually cleared out over the next few days. The hummingbirds now safely splash, bathe and drink the crystal clear water!! I cannot recommend this product highly enough!

This is a really fantastic product! I use this solution on a variety of different fountains that I keep indoors and it works extremely well, in fact you could even add this to some cloudy tap water and the water will become crystal clear! I usually mix with distilled water before adding to the fountain but you can also just add it directly to the water. (Instructions for ratios and mixing also on bottle) The solution almost seems to cause the water in the fountains to flow faster so I’d be willing to bet it’s getting the job done on the internal side of the fountains as well. The product is also advertised as safe for birds if you do in fact have outdoor fountains. I’ve tried a few different formulas but this brand & product is hands down the best- 100% worth the price.

I have a small fountain for my local birds, and algae was taking over. After a couple of days treating the water with this stuff, the algae is gone and the fountain is clean again.

Very good algaecide for a.fountain favored by birds. With the recommended weekly amount my water has stayed clear all month! Before this I was using a daily treatment and still had to bail wash and refill the fountain every 2 weeks. Dead algae sinks to the bottom in clumps and can easily be picked up with a skimmer
