It Was Good Enough For The Father Of Our Country ... And It's Good Enough For Me
With America's 250th birthday approaching, I was trying to find a product that would well represent the past while still being viable in the present. Caswell-Massey Number Six Shave Cream is such an item. The Number Six scent was one of the George Washington's favorites. I'm a fan of traditional shaving, i.e., vintage Gillette Super Speed safety razors and Schick Injectors, among others. I waited until the 4th of July to open the #6 and used my damp shave brush to distribute it on my face. The scent is wonderful ... very natural and pleasant. Not overwhelming but very, very nice! And the shave cream did a great job as I shaved with my Schick Injector Type G razor. What a wonderful product. It's so nice to see something that has stood the test of time and has such a connection to our Founding Father. I'm so glad I bought it!

Smooth Shaving
I have tried many shave creams and this one is the best. It goes on easily with a shaving brush, makes my razor glide across my face and neck, protects against nicks, and has a nice subtle fragrance. The only negative is they do not sell it in a travel size so it is awkward to take on a trip.

Best Shave Ever
This shaving cream is by far the best I've ever used. It's surprising how much closer a shave I get than with the other shave creams I've used in the past. It smells great too and is a perfect compliment to Caswell-Massey's almond soap bar.

Nice, clean scent scent
Not sure if it's worth the price, but for the amount my boyfriend will use each time, it'll probably last quite a while. The scent is clean, like a nice hand soap, and not overpowering at all. Leaves his skin soft and supple.

This shaving cream is amazing! I have been looking for a higher quality shave cream and this Caswell-Massey Almond is where I stop searching. It may seem pricey but a little bit goes a long way for each shave making this purchase not as expensive as you think it might be.
