Wrinkles Schminkles Reusable Silicone Forehead Wrinkle Patches, Pack of 1

I wore my Wrinkles Schminkles for the first time last night. It says to apply to dry skin, but I applied my normal night cream 1-2 hours before applying. Because of this, it didn't stick to my forehead very well around the edges, but the center where my deepest wrinkle is forming stayed attached. The Wrinkles didn't magically disappear in one night, but I noticed a SIGNIFICANT reduction. I attached before and after photos for you. I'm hoping to see continued improvement as I keep using the patches. I was surprised at the comfort level. I expected discomfort, but it was only a minor annoyance at 1/10 discomfort. I was easily able to fall asleep with it on and was more worried about it falling off than anything, but it stayed on all night. I'm sure it would've adhered better without my lotion, too, if I wasn't stubborn. Easy and completely painless to remove.

First off, this is NOT a review about how these patches don’t magically get rid of wrinkles. I know that this is meant to be a long-term solution and it’s just meant to aid in the reduction of the appearance of wrinkles, not get rid of the wrinkles completely. This would be fine, if the patches would work for longer than three nights. I applied them exactly as specified on the packaging with freshly cleaned and dry skin, no skin care products, made sure my hands were clean and dry before handling the patches, and even bought the special cleanser to clean the patches which was $15 for only 2 ounces. After all of that, the patches will not stay attached to my skin for more than a couple of minutes after the first two nights of wearing them. You can achieve the desired results with a tightening skin, mud mask, or a similar single use tightening mask. Don’t be like me and waste your money on these gimmicky patches that don’t work.

I haven’t seen a difference for my wrinkles but I’ve had dark spots on my face for years because of back to back pregnancies and breastfeeding. thanks to these patches it cleared them up! Even within the first use!!! My forehead has NO I mean NO dark spots anymore! I don’t even know how! I’ve worked on getting rid of them for years, went to the dermatologist, always having my face covered in the sun, I’ve tried everything. But somehow it worked for this! I’m so happy! I’m obsessed with the results!! I haven’t noticed a difference for my forehead wrinkles I feel like it does something because if you’re sleeping in them, you’re not scrunching your face while you sleep to prevent/worsen your wrinkles. Also something to note, even with washing my face the next morning, my face burned where I wore the patch. Keep your face covered after using. And I don’t burn easily.

These products have a love/hate thing going on. They feel soothing and cooling on the skin, and they do help lessen the wrinkles for a short time (like the first few hours of the day). However, they aren't actually diminishing any wrinkles, and they definitely do not last 10-20 uses, even with the cleaning solution. My first patch lasted four uses and the second one lasted six uses (at best!). This was with me constantly pressing it down, even when I would wake up in the night. They don't not stay on the forehead and frequently peel at the 11s and on the sides of the forehead. I don't think these are worth the money, as there are other options out there that are much more effective at diminishing wrinkles.

It smooth the wrinkles but does not stay that way

I tried these because I use frownies for static lines between my eyes and I hate the smell of the frownies glue. I bought the forehead pack with 2 patches. You do need to properly cleanse and dry your skin or these will not stick at all. I did not get many uses out of the first patch because I was being lazy about the prep before on my skin and the immediate cleaning of the patch after taking it off in the morning. The second patch I did all the skin and patch prep and got about 4 good uses out of it. They lessened my wrinkles about as much as frownies do, and I did not have any other issues with my skin. Then the top and temple side areas of the patch started to flop off, making them difficult to put on and stay on. If these were significantly less expensive and advertised as 2-3 time use patches I would purchase again, but it's too expensive for what they are, when there's already another product on the market that does a better job than this does.

Terrible. I applied it and wore it over night just as the instructions directed, and it looked like little air bubbles were in it. When I took it off my forehead looked like a “sponge” with all the little circles according to my husband, and he was not wrong! This lasted for 30 minutes or so and went away thankfully, but for sure no help to any wrinkles. I tried just wearing it in the evening for a couple hours and it had the same result. Really don’t recommend.

I’ve used these for years and years. They have stayed in my skin care routine throughout. I put it on when I first wake up (by my night stand) (very important it’s dry skin, you’ve peeled All of it both sides and use the right sticky side and make sure it’s sealed all across-or you just aren’t actually using it correctly-it is not hard, just involves doing it correctly) cream in the morning. So I wake up, I just put it on along with my Talika eye patches (above and below my eyes) go about all of my morning routines-including body stretches and isometrics for muscle building, then I take ‘em off and add my Boom Cotton and a dab of estrodial cream (that is new) on the T and side of eyes. I don’t wear much makeup anymore-maybe some mascara and lipstick and maybe some light bb cream to dial down my natural red across my nose and cheeks when I go out otherwise, nothing but my simple skin care routine and drink lots of water. I am 60.

From my late teens I have had one pesky line on my forehead and now at 34, its really started to bother me as its got a little deeper recently. Now, 34 isn't exactly old, so I can't comment on more deeper long term lines, so keep this in mind on my review. Browsing on amazon, I came across these patches and through it was too good to be true and sounded a little gimmicky (the kinda thing you see on low rent shopping channels at 3am in the morning, sorry!) but also thought, what do I have to loose? Used the forehead patches for 3 nights so far and the offending line, has almost diminished !!! I really wish I took a before and after. I really don't know why I have not heard about these before. I am a skincare junkie and always deep in internet searches looking for the latest products. 5 stars from me Love them !!!!!
