Made the job SO MUCH EASIER! Highly recommend getting this jig for installing cabinet and drawer pulls.

Life saver! Had to drill 69 drawer pulls (138 holes). This was easy to use and keep the holes perfectly lined up. The metal drill bit guides are amazing, no guessing if the hole is straight or angled, the guides do the work for you. I still used a plastic cheap template to mark the holes and then used this to line up the marks and drill the holes out. Spend the money and get the job done right and easily

I purchased the cabinet hardware jig because I wanted perfect and repeatable results. I like the adjustability of the jig from the standpoint of perfect horizontal and vertical measurements no matter the hardware type. This jig does not eliminate the need for basic measurements, but it does take the risk away from drilling non-level holes, or the wrong width holes depending on the hardware type. Is the product worth it? I think it is. I've seen pros that measure, but still have issues with getting the hardware level and centered. I'm a DIY'er, so yes, the jig definitely ups the quality of my work. I figure if you are going to spend time building nice cabinets or drawers, you may as well eliminate the risk of screwing up all the hard work because the hardware is crooked. The downside: Kreg needs to improve quality control for this product. One of the plastic nuts had defective threads and it was clear it was do to some shortcuts in the manufacturing process. Instead of returning the whole item, I was fortunate enough to have the right tap size to repair the thread. All this said, the jig is very good and I do recommend purchasing one. If you have the time, I suppose you can build your own jig as a shop project, but I'd rather focus on other things at the moment.

I was able to drill holes for 18 cabinet doors and 8 drawer pulls in about 45 minutes. Definitely beats the jigs that just let you mark the hole locations. With this, you just set your depth (the measurement between the edge of the door and the holes) and width between the holes (common handle widths are marked on the jig), clamp it to the door, and drill the holes. No marking and then drilling. You'll need a 3/16" drill bit (doesn't come with). The time and frustration I saved made this well worth it. I recommend investing in the kreg 3" face clamp if you have a lot of doors to do. TIP: I set the jig on the internal side of the door and used a rag under the metal face clamp pad on the external side to prevent it from making any indentations or marks. Not really related to this tool in particular, but was useful in the process.

I refinished my old kitchen cabinets and I’m doing so I filled all the holes from the old handles so that I could change them out (they had been on an angle). This left me with the daunting job of drilling into over 40 cabinet doors and drawers. As a diy-er it felt very daunting, I had considered making my own template and had researched some other jigs however decided to purchase this one as it’s from a great and reliable brand and I liked how sturdy it was. All I can say is wow, I’m so happy I did! It made the job so easy and I was able to do my kitchen in less than 2 hours (as a first timer). If you need to drill holes for cabinet pulls/knobs this is a must-have in my opinion!

I tried to make my own jig and it was okay but not great. This one is great. You won't need it often unless you're a professional, but even if you only do one kitchen cabinet this is worth the price for an excellent result.
