If left in a hot car, there is a chance the battery will swell. This may present a explosion/fire issue.

I cant say much about this charger as yet as I bought it as a birthday gift for my mom, but the characteristics that most caught my attention and whch are the basic reasons I bought it is that 1. It is water resistent and 2. Solar charged besides the fact that it packs some juice 8000mah.

Purchased as a gift for husband. He has enjoyed using it and says it works well.

Do not buy this product. I bought this and I when I got it , I tried to charge it with a cord, nothing happens, left it out by my window sill, nothing happens. if you want a good one find a more excpensive one.

I really like this 8000mah battery pack but I feel like the plugs that keep the ports clean are to flimsy and cheap feeling. It charges pretty fast on my galaxy s7 and it has 2 USB ports. It comes with a nice convenient clip that you can attach it to things like a backpack for hiking. The led flashlight works well in emergencies too! Really nice and sleek design would highly recommend!

When you use it as intended it does the job. Many reviewers want it to work via solar only and expect it to charge a phone in 20 minutes. That's not going to happen.As a battery backup it does what it is supposed to. If you take it out fully charged and use it to charge a dead phone, you'll have about 2/3 charge left. With that in mind, during the day it should be able to recharge itself on a sunny day by the time you need it again. If the pack is DEAD it will take a day and a half to recharge solar.

Like a previous review I initially had problems even getting it to charge the first time. It now recharges but seems to take a LONG time and that's with my Samsung fast charger. Seems to take at least 8-10 hours to recharge . Using it to recharge my S7 seems to take the same time as plugging it in. Overall though for $12 bucks not bad

I received it on time and it was fully charged. The package it came in looked tampered with, but everything in side was seemingly new and untouched. When I first revived the item all 4 lights lit vibrant LG but after wiping the battery the 3 lights farthest for the power button became dim and only able to see at certain angles. Other than that a good product and I would recommend this.
