A convenient, reliable, and cost effective alternative to RO systems.
I’ve had this item for several years and it’s still not showing any signs of failure! I originally had a Watts Premier RO system underneath my sink. Between the unreliable John Guest valves constantly leaking and the water tanks constantly failing due to poorly constructed diaphragms, I threw the entire RO system in the garbage. It’s replacement consisted of the FlowJet BW5000-00A water dispenser, a compatible drinking water faucet, and three 5 gallon jugs that I fill at a local water & ice store. I even added a brass T in the water line so that my water dispenser can supply bottled water directly to my refrigerator and ice maker. I no longer have to worry about leaks or filter maintenance. I’ve saved hundreds from not having to replace filters or filtration parts, so this dispenser paid for itself many times over. I’d definitely make this purchase again.

Well made device, easy to install and works as advertised!
We had to replace our garage fridge and ended up with one that had a nice icemaker with ice and water in the door. The garage isn't plumbed for an ice maker, but it seemed like a waste to not utilize that ice make to have some back up ice ready to go. After a quick search, I found this product. The product is well-packaged and the components seem well-made and surprisingly heavy-duty. Went together in a snap (honestly took about 10-15 min from opening the box to watching it fill the ice maker the first time). I typically dislike plumbing projects but these fittings are nearly fool-proof and worked, leak free, the first time. We've had it for about a week and a half now and the ice maker is full and the water out of the door is cold and refreshing (great for when we come back from a bike ride or have been working in the yard). Of course, I cannot comment on longevity but the set up and initial functionality has exceeded my expectations at this point. Downside is that you'll need a large water bottle as a reservoir. We already keep some of these 5 gallon bottles around for drinking water in a water cooler we keep in the house. If you don't already have one of these bottles, in our area, you can pick up a full one at most grocery stores with a filled 5 gallon bottle costing about $14. Subsequently, you can trade it in for a filled one for around $6-7. However, if you wanted to, once you have the first one, you could just refill it with tap water and save a trip to the store. Another issue is that you'll need to have a spot for the water bottle/reservoir relatively near the fridge, but the kit comes with ample tubing (I think around 20 feet) to give flexibility in positioning the unit.

Excellent water pump, highly recommend.
I live in a lake community with only well water, we do not use our tap water to make ice. I installed this with 5 gallon bottles to make ice, next to a cabinet, to the fridge. It works great. The noise level is minimal and we get fresh clean ice. One time, when the bottle ran dry, it started making a noise and stopped working. We loved it so much, we purchased another unit, thinking that over time, it just ran its course and failed. Upon installing the new one, the same thing happened, it was making a noise and not pumping the water. After re-reading the instructions, apparently, there was an air bubble in the tube. I had to remove the tube from the pump that ran from the fridge and run it, the air bubble cleared and it started working fine. Please try this before you order a new one! We now have an extra one, just in case it ever fails. We are very pleased with this product.

40 psi bottled water made easy!
Having a well these days presents water issuses with modern kitchens. I live in northern Indiana (thank god) and the well water is as hard as iron. My softner does well for the hardness. The taste of my water has alot to desire. So, like so many others I truck in five gallon bottles of filtered water from the local Kroger refill station. I bought a new fridge this nov. with a ice maker. Fact, these i m use a timer to fill the ice tray and gravity fed water will not fill the i m to capacity. A pressure of about 40 to 55 psi must be supplied. Those, a purchase of a water pump is a must. My review of the Flojet Bw5000 at this time is all positive at this time, it works and installment is simple. The bottle boot for a 5 gallon plastic bottle fits over two styles I have. Note, I wish I would of bought the two bottle hook up now. I had the room and now see the advantage, I am single and my water use is low, about 5 gallons a week with small dog. The mounting of the pump was to a wall. The pump has rubber dampners and the noise level is brief and not that bad. Water line hook ups are easey and no special tools are needed. The tubing is long at 20 ft. Just lick the lines before connecting to help things along. The line to the bottle is much shorter and will determ where you place your pump. The 110 electric line is so low in power usage that extra cord can be used safely. I placed no filter in my line to the fridge. My water is prefilted and the frige has no filter. This aviods air pockets that can affect i m timing and causes low or little cubes. I hope this review helps you all and I hope my pump last. Note, the fittings for extra hookups from the pump for coffee maker or faucet can be found at any hardware shop.

We wanted to solve the problem of dispensing drinking water in our renovated cottage kitchen. We hooked this up to a tap and it works beautifully. Only when the tap is dispensing the water do you hear the pump which is only on for a few seconds while the water is flowing. We generally use the usual 18L plastic mineral water bottles but you can also use any large water bottle container deep enough for length of the piece that sucks the water up and hold it upright. If you are designing a new kitchen, a standard sized under the counter cupboard is the perfect place to put an electrical outlet and house the bottle near your kitchen sink. So far since June with regular use it is working well. Good-bye to flipping over huge bottles of water onto a water cooler!

Fácil de instalar, apenas te das cuenta que está trabando. Adiós al problema del agua para el refrigerador. Evita que cambies el filtro del refri al utilizar agua del garrafón.
