Fotoconic 118" / 3m Metal Tube Crossbar for Electric Motorized, Manual Studio Roller Background Support System

Value - I mean they are quite expensive for 3 metal poles but i dont know the prices of these things. Quality - they feel durable and robust, cant complain there. no sharp nicks or anything from my perspective. Each pole comes in 3 pieces which you slot intogether, doesnt feel like they will come apart and was relatively easy to install together. Use case - Im using these as part of a roller wall with vinyl/paper backdrops on. Never felt like they wasnt fit for purpose or that they dont work. Works very well for me and very happy. Overall - would buy again IF needed to do so, price however would not make me rush out to get them. I would simply re-use the poles i have until i needed more.

Great poles but I had to hammer one of them out which had a dent on the end which wouldn't let them go together. After a few minutes of tapping at it, they went together just fine and are very sturdy when slotted together. It does bend a small bit with a 3mX2m cloth backdrop but nothing to be concerned about. Overall, great backdrop pole for the price.

This comes in three sections with two grub screws to join it all together and the hex key is supplied. Have 3 of these now in a busy studio and it’s stood up to a real hammering. Easy enough to cut to size with a junior hacksaw. Great value for money and does the exact job it needs to.

Firstly, just want to confirm, these CAN be cut to size - despite the seller telling me otherwise. The metal is easily cut with a regular hacksaw. Other than that, not much else to say - does the job. Only thing I can think of is the screws used to join the sections together are flat head, which is pretty silly. Hard to get these tight enough to stop them working lose, but I don't see it being a problem. But they should totally swap these out for hex.

Looks good. Easy to assemble.

Solid bars but was expecting a 3m length poorly described. Haven’t even had them out of the packaging as not as led to believe. If you want something please message seller beforehand.

My wife is a quilter and wanted a design wall for her quilt designs. We paired this product with the Fotoconic Single Roller Wall/Light Stand mounting system. It worked amazing well. It was super easy to assemble, very light weight and super heavy duty. The cost was well below what we expected to spend and could not be happier.

Finding a 10 ft backdrop crossbar isn't easy and often, when you do find one, it is collapsible and flimsy. Not so with the Fotoconic 10 Ft / 3M Metal Tube Crossbar. Not the easiest item to assemble, they worked perfectly with the four position electric backdrop control unit I also bought. Only one small problem with one section of one of the four bars I purchased - a sizable dent probably inflicted by UPS during transit or delivery. BUT, Fotoconic stepped up and promptly replaced the damaged item. Love these crossbars and you will also.
