Sure, Suitable not perfect. Use a waffle weave towel for glass. As important as the towel, use a quality cleaner and proper window cleaning techniques.

For leveling/removal of ceramic coatings, should you wash first or is it safe to use right out of the package?

I always wash my new microfiber towels prior to use. Gives opportunity to inspect them. I don’t want to worry about bits of fibers contaminating expensive coatings. It satisfies my obsessive being knowing they have been washed and dried.
