Took about a week to notice but neighbors cats stopped pooping on my front lawn. This is my second bag. The first bag (exact stuff) was placed over a year ago. I'm sure it's washed out by now. The blood based fiber stuff works. Doesn't attract bugs. Doesn't smell. Doesn't mold up. Goes into the dirt and it's gone. Works well. When appling wear a mask of some kind. If inhaled it'll make you sneeze and burn your nose like cayenne pepper. Probably because it contains the pepper as an ingredient. But it works. Wear eye protection too. Glasses won't work well. Swimming goggles or masks is perfect with the mask. Wash well after or you'll get the Cheyenne pepper in your eyes.

My answer is simple. IT DOES NOT WORK!! It is very expensive. It did nothing to do deter anything!

When they said that it was good for cats , they didn’t lie!! They keep coming to my garden like always, didn’t mind the smell!!!

I've used this product for a long time, and it has worked but with some disadvantages. If it gets wet, it doesn't work. In the summer the heat and sun degrades it quickly. But it keeps the cats away from my doors and patio, where the males would spray. I usually add a few containers of cayenne pepper, just to make it go farther. Just have to be careful if it's windy.

This definitely worked for me!! I purchased this dog/cat repellent to KEEP MY PUPPY FROM DIGGING in certain areas of our yard, particularly the dirt areas. I can’t attest to how this product works to deter dogs/cats from urinating or peeing in certain areas. When I initially sprinkled it on an area where my puppy liked to dig, she immediately came, sniffed, then took a taste. I thought I had purchased another dud, BUT, over the next several days she wouldn’t go back to where it was sprinkled! Apparently she needed to sniff and taste, as all good dogs would do, before she decided it wasn’t to her liking. I reapply after it rains or the area gets wet and now she avoids those areas completely. There has been NO DIGGING on any areas where this product was applied. I was surprised to read reviews from persons who said it didn’t make any difference to their pets. I guess some pets, like humans, have a high tolerance for spicy smells and tastes. But I suggest that if you purchased it, give this product a chance, experiment with the application, and wait. There’s pepper in it, which caused me to sneeze a lot while I was applying it, but it doesn’t seem to be harmful to the grass or any of my plants, so....I PROMPTLY ORDERED 2 MORE BAGS!! 😊.

I have had pretty good luck with this product. I have purchased it 4 times now. You think my dog would learn his lesson by now! The only negative thing thing I have to say is that you want to check the weather forecast and DO NOT apply it if a rain is coming! The rain will dilute and dissolve this product! Also DO NOT get this product in your eyes! Make sure you know which way the wind is blowing and hold the bag low to the ground when applying it so there is less chance of getting it in your eyeballs! It will burn!!!!

This stuff is great for repelling cats in my garden. Vegetables too!
