How do you use this? Do I slide the top up to reveal the gel? There is no smell from this... help

Yes I have 2 oc them in my bathroom and you do just slide it up revealing the Gel you only smell it initially if you put your nose to it after a while once your close enough you smell it TBH there’s only smell at a close range
