Fantastic cheese, worth every penny
What can I say besides YUM! This is a fantastic piece of cheese. The flavor is a mix of cheddar and parmigian. It has a subtle nutty and slight sour taste with crystallization texture throughout the cheese. The 3 pound piece is a statement on the table with fresh loaf of bread and some sliced tomatoes. The value is worth it for the cheese, our specialty store sell it for 30 dollars a pound. I have it in our frig wrapped in beeswax to keep it fresh. I love the stamping on the side of the cheese rind it adds a touch of class to the cheese board.

Very tasty
This cheese was discussed on TV during the Winter Olympics as being like parmesan so I ordered it on Amazon. My wife and I actually like it better than parmesan and use it where we used to use parmesan. Ordered some for my brother too and he loves it as well.

I'm from Italy.....
I'm from Italy and this is what we buy at the local supermarket. I rarely see it here in America actually I can say I've never seen it in the states. Saw it on Amazon and it's so expensive compared to Italy so I never bought it. I pulledcthe trigger last week for a Sunday family dinner I was having. The flavor brought me back to the motherland. It was wrapped very well and had an ice pack to keep it chilled. The ice pack was melted by the time I got it but was still cold. I looked for the reviews to see exactly what I would get and what a shocker out of all the reviews not a single review with pictures. Essentially leaving all these reviews useless. I will never ever ever ever understand how someone can leave a review without posting pictures. So for those that appreciate seeing what you get and look for pictures on reviews I am happy to say I'm the first to do so. This is definitely grana. It's delicious. I am happy with the purchase and don't think it's super super expensive for what you get. I will order again.
