Amazon Basics Retractable Tape Measure with Metric and SAE Measurements, 16ft/5m, Belt Clip, Readable, Pink

This is a solid tape measure that is very easy to handle. I am 64 years old and it makes measuring things a whole lot easier because it stays in place. It's not like some of those flimsy ones that you have to keep repositioning. The size is good too. My husband has large and small ones but this one is just perfect for me. I liked it so much that I bought a blue one for downstairs. Great value at a great price! You can't say that about most things these days.

I use this to measure of course. Lately my grandbaby has been using it learning to measure. Handy for me...teaching tool for my grandbaby. It's pink too so can't go wrong there.

I did not expect to have feelings about a tape measure but here we are. Between home projects, measuring furniture for content, trying to see if storage bins will fit where I think they will, and my kid randomly deciding he needs measurements for school projects, this thing has been used nonstop since it showed up. First thing I noticed is the grip. It is actually comfortable to hold and does not feel like it is going to slip out of your hand when you are juggling three other things. The retract is smooth but not aggressive, so you are not fighting it or getting that snap-back that feels like it is going to take your finger off. The markings are clear and easy to read, which matters more than people think. I have had cheaper ones where you are squinting trying to see lines in bad lighting. This one is bold enough that I can measure quickly without second guessing. I also appreciate that it has both metric and SAE because I bounce between the two more often than I thought I would. It feels sturdy overall, not flimsy or hollow like some budget tools. I have already dropped it more than once and it is still working perfectly, which is honestly the real test in my house. This tape measure has officially become my new favorite adulting tool it’s sturdy, smooth to retract, and switches between metric and SAE measurements faster than I switch between projects I swear I’ll finish someday. The numbers are super easy to read, the lock actually holds (a miracle), and the whole thing feels way more solid than I expected for the price. Whether I’m measuring furniture, cosplay props, or just checking if my parent's cat is longer than I think, this tape measure has been reliable, convenient, and surprisingly satisfying to use.

Asides from my one gripe I like the tape measure, if one of the guys I’m working with asks to borrow a tape measure this is the one I give them so I know I’ll get it back & it’s funny seeing them use it ngl. The strap is convenient, I work with a lot of pipe and it’s so easy to just hang that on it. It’s auto locking which I love, it’s very responsive and it has millimeter. Now to my gripe. The first 6 inches had 1/32 of inches instead of 1/16ths and for my type of work that is just inconvenient, I have separate tape measure that doesn’t do that only in 1/16ths, if you’re new to tape measurements and youre confused about why the 1-6inches look like that it’s because it’s doing /32nds instead of /16ths. It’s an easy fix for me but meh I still like and use these tape

This is the perfect tape measure! Easy to find in any drawer due to the pink color. Has a stop button which allows you to keep your exact measurement. Bought 4 (2 for house, one for each car). Sleek design! Numbers, print, markings are VERY easy to read. Great value for your money.

This is a quality tape measure. The overall unit is hefty, the tape slides out easy, and the one button retraction is crisp and quick. The tape also has centimeter as well as feet and inches markings. It even has a convenient carrying lanyard. In short, its everything you want in a tape measure. The only thing 'missing' is the length of the main body, which makes an internal measurement impossible, although I note the main body isn't square so it won't work for that anyway.

Metro a nastro semplice ma ben fatto. Le misure risultano precise, il meccanismo di riavvolgimento funziona bene e l’impugnatura è comoda. Lo utilizzo per piccoli lavori in casa e per prendere misure durante il trasloco e finora ha sempre svolto il suo lavoro senza problemi. Non ha particolari caratteristiche da evidenziare, ma per il prezzo e per l’utilizzo quotidiano è un ottimo prodotto che fa esattamente quello che deve fare.
