SkinSmart Antimicrobial Wound Care for Pets, Hypochlorous Acid Spray, 8 oz

It does clean up and help injured tissue heal. However, this stuff stings!!! I sprayed a cat scratch across the top of my foot (gained by spraying the cat's chewed ear). Now I know why the animals hate this stuff but it does work.

I had to look this up and add a review. My dog has suffered from folliculitis for quite some time and until I found this product antibiotics were the only thing that cleared it up. I highly recommend this product. I used it twice a day on the effected areas and then once a day. The condition got better each day but took consistent care. It even helps with the smelly corn chip smelling feet and the constant licking. Until now nothing over the counter helped probiotics of all kinds negative. Collagen negative. Douuxo S3 negative. sulfodene negative. I highly recommend if you have the patience use it consistently

Works and much cheaper than the big name brand that starts with a "V" with tge exact same ingredients & % of those ingredients. We have a small rescue farm, so every dollar saved helps. Love this stuff!

This spray is a “must have” for our animal rescue. Whether it’s a small scrape or post surgical care, every single wound heals much faster, with less issues using this stuff. We sweat by it. The attached pictures don’t do my dogs neck justice. He had three masses removed and when they sewed him up the skin was sewed to overlap rather than have the edges meet. So the whole side profile of the thickness of his skin wa exposed and I expected it to take forever to heal. I decided I was going to use the spray to keep clean and keep from getting infection. Best decision ever. Such a beautifully healed wound. He’s my best friend and I only give him the best treatment. I highly recommend the spray. When you use it- remember it’s not really a medication so much as a clean flush. So use it very very liberally on the wound to flush away any dirt debris or particles that may have gotten in. Even if it looks clean, it’s not. Do this three times a day, flushing the wound and letting it air dry. You can dab around it but don’t pat the wound itself.

Easily administered. Immediate effect on a hot spot. Enhanced healing. Will keep this on hand.

Have not used it enough to see if it will work but I want to say that I could not make the pump work. I tried many different ways and it did not work. So I had to unscrew the top.

Highly effective wound care treatment! I bought this last night for my golden retriever and her wound is noticeably better this morning after only 2 treatments. My only complaint is the spray nozzle which others may have mentioned. I had to pour it out and use paper towels to dab the area. I would definitely buy this product again even though the sprayer is defective.
