Enjoyable and informative
I enjoyed this simple and easy to read leadership book! Iโm hoping to grow and to become a leader in the company that I work for and this book was really helpful. It was a quick read and a great starting point for someone interested in leadership or just being a more confident and empowered woman.

Really great content... even for men
I love the Leadership 9 Essential Skills for New Female content. I am a straight man and this content resonates with me. Really good book. I am giving it 4 stars because the Audible book is really hard to listen to. Listening to the audiobook is like listening to a presenter in a corporate customer service meeting, and the presenter is reading the slides verbatim. Very boring. I will stick with the book.

Excellent Read!
Definitely a must read! I read in 2 sittings! I learned so much about myself and how to move forward! I will definitely share with others and encourage others to read! Iโve highlighted the heck out of this book and plan on reading again. The little โnudgesโ โฆ Yes yes yes! Felt those throughout every chapter! One of the best reads in quite some time! Good practical advice that can be applied personally and professionally!

Good nuggets but formatting issues detract from credibility
I like this book for its concise information and the ability to draw a few nuggets of info that are reminders from management courses or other books Iโve read before. The book is easy to read - both in large spans of dedicated time and broken up into a few pages between meetings. Definitely helpful for someone like me that easily loses interest in books. The downside, there really isnโt new information. Some sections are rushed, and the formatting is sloppy. There are page breaks where they donโt belong, missing images and/or graphics, and section headings that begin as the last sentence of a page. I expect more precision from books that claim to be an authority on a topic which is primarily why my rating is where it is. Given the above, I wouldnโt necessarily recommend the book and might not purchase others by the author when there are so many other authors/publishers to choose from. Although not an opinion shared by everyone, detail orientation speaks to credibility for me and this is therefore lacking the credibility I want for a resource on my bookshelf.

Bought in a panic when I was promoted hoping it would suddenly tell me how to manage a team. It didnโt, I had to work that out on my own but itโs a good book none the less and gave me the confidence to believe in myself

Superficially and without usable examples. First book in a long time that I have thrown out and wil not keep for my library.

I would recommend this book for any women looking at stepping into management, or any women who have already established themselves as a manager, who would like to dust off the cob webs, and refresh their memory on the essential skills, it takes to be a good woman in a leadership.
