Review: Easily the best in the price range - This is a great little grinder. It's easy to use & very easy to clean. I was initially concerned because most grinders state that they're for 2 or more cups at a time whereas I only ever make one. But that's not a problem with the Bodem since you can set the grinder for as little as 5 seconds which is about right for the amount of beans I use per cup. To set the fineness of the grain is simply a process of twisting the hopper round to the graduated mark. To clean the stainless steel burrs is easy - just remove the hopper, lift out the upper burr and brush out. I've heard it said that static is a problem but if you just grab a handful of beans in a slightly wet hand when you load the hopper the static disapears and doesn't return. Overall I would highly recommend this grinder, it's very reasonably priced, grinds well and cleans easily, doesn't make a great deal of noise and looks quite stylish. Excellent grinder & compares very well with other far more expensive models.

**Q: I don't know how long I should grind my coffee. Do you? I have a french press**
A: It should be pretty coarse. You want your coffee grounds to be roughly 1 to 1.5 mm in size. Remember to use 2 tbsp of coffee for every cup of water and brew for 4 minutes. If you want your coffee stronger or weaker use more or less coffee. If you're still unsure how much to grind your coffee go to Starbucks and ask them to grind your coffee for a French press.

**Q: Size?? is it really 4.5 x 4.5 x 8.5" as the specs state? The Bodum I'm replacing is plenty big at 2.5 x 2.5 x 5".**
A: The box is that size, so it will be a wee bit smaller. But yes, pretty tall.

**Q: Have one came with out blade and screw fastener**

**Q: Does it work on 220v or only on 110v (us)?**

This is a great little grinder. It's easy to use & very easy to clean. I was initially concerned because most grinders state that they're for 2 or more cups at a time whereas I only ever make one. But that's not a problem with the Bodem since you can set the grinder for as little as 5 seconds which is about right for the amount of beans I use per cup.
