Wind protection for a gas stove.Well, it does that extremely well.I got the larger one out of the set which I would recommend most people buy

Bought these to help shield the burners on our Camping Gaz 400 SG stove (The Xcelerate burners claim to be wind resistant but clearly not to UK Camp site standards!). These screen plates are a straightforward solution. We wrapped them around one side of the pan / kettle and they definitely made a difference in how fast things boiled. Being light weight they are a little flimsy and can blow over - but even with the 10 plate option you can double them back on themselves to make them more solid. The hinge pins can fall out if you turn them upside down - just have to be careful when picking them up that they are the right way up. I will probably look at fixing some of the pins in place permanently and adding connectors linking between the hinges to hold the shape and make them stand up more effectively. Overall very happy with them.

Great for camping to keep the wind off the stove

This works well and is light weight. Not suitable for use on a table. It's design leaves it quite unstable. Would probably be okay on soft ground where you can embed it slightly.

The slide out cooker in my car sometimes suffers from draughts through the car and an unsteady flame if the wind is gusty. This seems to be an ideal cheap option, pic shows both burners on full in blustery conditions and side doors open. Small enough to sit under the stove in the bag when not needed.

Really lightweight in a nice little carry case. To my minor irritation it arrived with part of the product missing, the folding panels are attached to each other by vertical wires. Other reviewers have noted that these keep falling out. One of mine must have fallen out during packing as my windshield arrived in 2 parts with some of the wire that should have been there to hold these bits together, completely missing. The other wires tend to fall out at speed when you handle it also! Anyway rather than send it back, I decided to fix the thing myself by threading garden wire through it. I have replaced the original wires with slightly longer bits of garden wire which I have crimped at the end of each panel to prevent them falling out in either direction. This has worked very well.. I would say that this is a low priced item and a good way to get some metal panels for a windshield, just be prepared to wire them together yourself if you want to make it a bit more sturdy :0)
