Are these "messianic" Tzitzit?

Yes. They are made by Holy Land Market, a Messianic supplier. Tips to identify that these are not Kosher as explained by the Kohen Gadol and other Sages; The strands are cut at the end, and are much too short. The knots must only be 1/3 down the length, not half or more. The blue "techelet" is not certified by the Israeli science academy that determines such things, and these are already tied as well. Only untied tzitzit will be found seperate from a garment as if they are to be affixed then they must be done by your hand, if you are not purchasing them already on a tallit or w/e

What is the length of the loop? Can it be made to 6 inches?

Numbers 15:38-39 commandment to attach tzizits to the four corners of your garment as a visual reminder of God and following His commandments. The woman with the issue of blood reached out to touch the hem of Jesus garment and was healed...what she touched was tzizits. They are attached to Tallit (prayer shawl) corners, also men wear them on corners of shirt or pants as reminder of God.
