Is it raw honey? Why is it thick and not runny?

Unlike supermarket runny honey that has been filtered and heated, our honey is raw and it is only natural for raw honey to set into solid or creamy texture.

Why is it solid, but advertised as creamy?

It sets naturally and during cold weather it may go solid. We recommend putting the jar in a warmer place in your house and then give it a good stir. It will loosen up and become creamy rather than solid.

It is too sweet and smells like candy. Has it got flavouring and sugar added?

No, we never add flavourings or sugar to our honey. It is naturally occuring sweetness and the rich floral notes from unique blossoms of Cyprus, like Lemon Balm, Wild Cypriot Lavender, Cyprus Myrtle, Citrus Blossom.

I know of the way of checking if it is a real raw honey and it does not look like it is?

The only real way of checking the quality, purity and content of raw honey is through the laboratory tests, which we have done and have a proof of analysis. We are also checked by the UK Food Agency.

Has this got added sugar? Why does it say sugar on the label?

This honey has not got any added sugar. The sugar on the nutritional label is the naturally occuring sugar that every honey has.
