Goat head thorns are bad around me especially during tumble weed season. I ride almost every day. I also use tires that are resistant to punctures, and back them up with "Slime" tubes. This combo has gotten me home every time! The pinch flat was discovered the next day before another ride. Thorn Buster's liners are a must. They are light, and easy to install. Easy Peazy! When I bought a new bike last year, within a week, I came home with 2 flats before I did anything with my tires and tubes. About 2 months ago, I found a thorn stuck into my tire tread before a ride.
