I am an elite runner, former pro soccer player, and overall sports and fitness enthusiast - which means I use a lot of kinesiology tape. I use tape mostly on my lateral right knee due to an extremely stubborn case of ileo-tibial syndrome (runner's knee). I require a first strip running along lateral aspect of my leg (IT band), with no stretch, and two 45 degree strips at full stretch about 2 inches from the tibial condyle. That said, this is why I think this is the best value in kinesiology tape:(1) It is tougher than the expensive brands. After running about 9 to 12 miles, the 45 degree strips, at full stretch, are still intact. The glue is firm and there is no crack in the tape. Actually, I have used the same tape for more than 108 miles and it was still intact and performing at 100%. I remove them after several days to maintain good hygiene, not because they are compromised. So how does it compare with the expensive brands? The most I have gotten from the expensive brands, without cracking or peeling, is 12 miles.(2) It adheres extremely well. I had to use pre-tape adhesive spray when I used the expensive brands, but that is not necessary now that I am using this tape. I don't like pre-tape adhesive because it makes my body sticky. I also don't like it because it is an additional expense that adds up fast. Just make sure you complete your taping at least about half an hour prior to your activity and this tape will hold and last for more than a week (if you would want to go that long without washing the skin under it). If you have been using the expensive brands you will notice immediately that this tape adheres better.(3) Price. I hope the vendor doesn't increase that price now that I'm mentioning that you get a LOT OF TAPE for relatively less money. Take a few minutes to compare the amount of tape you are getting for a dollar, versus the other vendors, and you will agree with me that this is the best value in kinesiology tape by a vast margin. I hope they don't increase the price now. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Good K Tape for the price. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on April 24, 2019* If you apply K Tape before skiing or workouts and remove it once you are done, this stuff works great. You can set the tape just as you would the KR brand tape. This is like their cotton version in performance. The roll is cut pretty good but not perfect so you have to snap it off the roll quickly. It does leave some residue if you leave it on more than half a day and the edges sometimes pull up inside your boot with a good wool ski sock on. Never had a loss of support this season on the mountain. I would give it 5 stars if the cut on the roll was just a little bit better. I just yank it while holding the piece left on the roll to prevent pulling the tape off the paper. It cuts easy for special applications and didn't leave any marks or cause irritation while skiing very hard all day on several occasions. I am using it now for trail hiking and knee support.
