(If your previous Adaptor was less than 3A then this will be a perfect replacement as amperage is NOT Forced) Protective function: Short circuit protection. I am using this to recharge a handheld vacuum cleaner as the original charger cable perished. I wish it had an LED indicator light to show when the vacuum cleaner is fully charged. I have to guess how long to leave it charging. That said, it’s very efficient.
