Having had this for about a year and taking it on several camping festival road trip style type expeditions I can’t attest that it is a complete package and absolutely amazing very reliable and last’s for an extremely long time on one charge. I cannot overstate how useful the second nozzle is that produces a higher more powerful concentrated stream for washing dishes, etc., while you are out and about. Also consider this for further upgrades all of the tubing housing and everything else is standard in stock sizes at this point I’ve actually integrated this into a much larger system that I have, probably saved myself about $60 in parts doing the build.

I got this to take camping with us. We often go to a friends property and help them develop the land, getting covered in sawdust, dirt, and sweat in the process. There is no electricity nor plumbing on the property currently. We would have to go into town and find a place to take a shower or use the solar shower/wipes to clean up when the day was done. Having this pump was quite the improvement. We did not use the bag it came with, rather we got a 5 gallon camping jug also available on amazon and used that instead. This gave us the possibility to have a longer shower and not rush. We filled up the jug at home and took it with us. We camp in the same spot each time, so we made a little pad with bricks to stand on while showering. The hanger was perfect for hanging on a small branch to support the shower head. It was nice to be able to cut the water flow off at the shower head but the pump runs the entire time. I would have liked to have been able to shut the pump off too at the shower head but the design is not a deal breaker. The flow of the water reminded me of showering at home. I did not have to struggle to rinse my hair out or get it all wet in the first place. It also takes a moment at the start of a shower, even if someone already showered recently, for the water to reach the shower head from the pump. I did not time it but i feel like it took maybe 60 seconds. For the 2nd day we were camping, since we were low on water and it was hot outside, so I put melted ice from the ice chests into the water jug and used that to shower with. In the 100°F+ heat, it was a delightful way to cool down and get clean. This definitely beats the solar shower we had out there, with its weak flow and difficulty putting up a heavy bag of water high enough to be able to stand under it to use it. The battery lasted all weekend but i have a battery bank i take on these trips to charge devices in case we run out of battery power.

I bought this to rinse off after a surf as we mostly surf where there are now beach showers. This little guy rocks! Been using it for two weeks about 5 times now and the battery is still ok going strong. I followed the advise of another customer who bought a watertight container instead of using the bag it comes with as I leave it in the car permanently. I just fill that up and keep the unit in the waterproof bag to prevent any water leaking into car. So far we're really happy with the portable water pump aka shower unit. Not huge pressure but enough to hose down sandy feet and rinse off just like a beach shower. Oh and great customer service too. I broke the clip that holds the shower head and they kindly sent a replacement. Update. Been using this awesome shower for over a month and the pump is still going off the initial charge! Unbelievable! This will last anyone camping for at least a week before needing to charge, maybe even longer. The dry bag it comes with is perfect to store the pump and hose which still has some water in after use. As mentioned, I use an plastic container that I keep filled with water in my car and the bag is used to keep the pump etc. I literally haven't taken it out of my car once since it's first use and the light still has 3 flashes meaning it's charge is still good! Highly recommend this shower pump kit over what I can see are cheap knockoffs that lack quality design and durability. You won't be disappointed with this little guy!

Thing worked beautifully for an outdoor shower. That bag is very good and durable but absolutely not ideal for actually using it to take a shower. Soon as you start moving the shower head and using water the bag tends to just flop around and lose water. So a bucket is an easy/awesome fix! Doesn’t move at all while you clean yourself all over compared to that bag.

I haven't used it yet because I thought it was be a simple setup. It's probably good. But when I unpacked it there was no manual. You have to go to their website and watch a video. Then in the video you will hear the narrator say "be sure to read the instruction manual and all the safety instructions". The nerve, the absolute gall, to say that after sending no instruction manual. The brazen audacity to say that to me. The closest I got to an instruction manual is "videos to get you started" and website info in bold printed on the inside lid of the box. Other than that the battery is charging right now so I will get back to you after I have tried it. I bought this so I could wash my dog and water my plants with ease. I'm not really upset about the instruction manual btw I was giggling about the experience while messaging my friend about it. We had some laughs. Update: since I bought this a few months ago cannot return it. Doesn't work upon unboxing. It was probably someone else's returned item which would explain the lack of a manual.

Just recieved this item yesterday. And I was really excited to get it. It's fairly easy to set up and use. I put it together in preparation for my camping trip tomorrow, charged the battery,, and then I filled the plastic lined canvas bucket up with water. All worked very well the pump seems strong and the shower head works very well. My 3 star rating is because the bucket (which is supposed to be a "dry bucket" i.e. should seal when you fill it, and roll the top edges over as shown in the diagram; and connect the clasps.) Well even sitting upright on its bottom with the top edge rolled over there was water slowly draining out of the top of the bucket. Unfortunately this bucket doesn't have the typical rubber lip that most other dry buckets I have seen have that will prevent it from leaking. So for camping this is sort of self defeating. If you watch the video of the bucket in use, you are supposed to be able to fill it, seal it, then strap it over your shoulder and head out as it shows in the vid. Well, my bucket started to leak out of the fold over flap the instant I filled it and thus will not do what I need it to. (Fill with water, seal it to transport it to the camp site; and then unseal and use it when I need it with the bucket still full.) I would have given this less than 3 stars, but the pump works well and I do love the concept of this product, so 3 stars. Hopefully someone is paying attention and they will upgrade the seal on the bucket so it actually works as originally designed without leaking. All that said, you can always use the pump with other applications: A sink or 5 gal bucket full of water. etc.

I put this unit through HELL. This is the best and most durable of all of them on amazon. Things you need to look for in one of these: 1. Corrosion Resistant (only 2 other brands also have it, and the other brands were inconsistent with DOA units and motor/battery going kaput over corrosion). 2. Isolated Battery Housing (this is what you want in your unit, but so far this is the only one with no issues reported, my self included). 3. USB Type-C (I wasn't expecting this at all, Ridgewatrer doesn't even list it on the product page, they should.. big plus). 4. Water Pressure (It's decent or good depedning on use case. For showers it's great and for light rinsing of something that isnt too gritty. 5. Ridgewater is the only one that can let you turn it off/on in the shower head. 6. Ridgewater unit has an overheat protection on the battery. (it will shut off if it get's too hot on prolong use or if you boiled the water. Best to keep it luke warm to avoid this, when it happens just give it a minute to cool off). 7. Battery Housing seal tight. Cons: 1. Water hose material used could be better. 2. Lacking Motor detailed specifications. 3. It comes with a big O-ring that's not documented on where it should go, it doesn't fit anything in the unit anyways (myb this was an oversight on my unit). 4. Shower head plastic seems brittle. (Careful how you place it, one drop and that's it). 5. Shower Head Hanger could have a better design for keeping it straight, not sideways. I put away the bag and bought an 27 gallon hard plastic square bin from costco with cap for $10... so I can keep it full blast during my shower if I wanted too. I'm pretty sure battery (18650) can be moded/exchnaged in case it wears or dies out with not much difficulty. Might require to reseal the cap though. This company perfected the budget portable shower pump, no doubt. I can comfortably buy their products from now on.

Die Dusche funktioniert zwar und die Leistung der Pumpe ist wirklich gut, allerdings gibt es leider ein paar Punkte die nicht so gut sind: Punkt 1: Die Verarbeitung ist wirklich schlecht. Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen, dass es lange hält. Aber das wird sich zeigen. Punkt 2: In der Pumpe sammelt sich nach den Gebrauch eine große Menge Wasser. Es ist mir nicht möglich, dieses Wasser aus der Pumpe heraus zu bekommen. Das Wasser läuft dann nach und nach aus der Pumpe, somit ist ständig altes Wasser im System, welches dann recht schnell gammelt. Vielleicht gibt es da einen Trick, es kann auch sein, dass es normal ist. Kenne mich da nicht aus. Punkt 3: Das ist meiner Meinung nach der schwerwiegenste. Der Sack ist einfach nicht dicht. Ich konnte kein Loch finden, aber das eingefüllte Wasser läuft einfach wieder raus. Den Sack muss ich mir also zusätzlich neu kaufen. Fazit: Es lohnt sich nicht. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich lieber etwas mehr Geld ausgeben. Die Dusche kommt außerdem aus den USA, was mir vor dem Kauf ebenfalls nicht bewusst war. Daher kommt für mich eine Rücksendung ebenfalls nicht in Frage.

Perfect for the camping trip, whether washing the kids or the dishes or anything in between. Battery recharges quickly from our car. Super convenient- it stays in the car so it is always packed and ready.

Amazing product. This allows us to now have multiple nights camping. Easy to setup with great water pressure is perfect without over use of the water on hand.

If you read this just buy one. Good amount of water flow, everyone always jealous when I have it set up camping. Battery charge lasts pretty good too
